Well, my left foot has been hurting for two weeks now and hasn't gotten any better so today I went to the ortho and he took xrays. Found out I have a fractured bone in my foot! I have to wear an aircast for a month and then go back for more xrays to make sure it healed properly.
What really sucks is I have to stay out of the gym at least until I see him next so four weeks at minimum. I am right in the middle of a cycle too. I was debating whether or not I should just keep running it but if I just stop I still have enough to run a similar cycle later, just not for as long. I think that's what I'll do, I just feel like without even being able to go to the gym for at least a month it's a waste.
The strange thing is I don't remember any trauma that would have caused it. Didn't step on anything, kick anything, drop anything on it...nothing. I guess it could be worse though, and this is the first time I've had an injury keep me out of the gym for more than a week or two. Just frustrating to be making progress and then have a set back like this.
Anyway, just wanted to vent.
