Well, my left foot has been hurting for two weeks now and hasn't gotten any better so today I went to the ortho and he took xrays. Found out I have a fractured bone in my foot! I have to wear an aircast for a month and then go back for more xrays to make sure it healed properly.

What really sucks is I have to stay out of the gym at least until I see him next so four weeks at minimum. I am right in the middle of a cycle too. I was debating whether or not I should just keep running it but if I just stop I still have enough to run a similar cycle later, just not for as long. I think that's what I'll do, I just feel like without even being able to go to the gym for at least a month it's a waste.

The strange thing is I don't remember any trauma that would have caused it. Didn't step on anything, kick anything, drop anything on it...nothing. I guess it could be worse though, and this is the first time I've had an injury keep me out of the gym for more than a week or two. Just frustrating to be making progress and then have a set back like this.

Anyway, just wanted to vent.
 
Pharm,

Why not still go to workout but only do any machines that you can do seated.
Maybe 3 total upper body workouts a week.
You'll maintain more muscle, especially on and you'll feel better mentally.

Never give up or give in :naughty: ,this is just an annoying speed bump.

Come on Bro, just do it. No Excuses....................Never!

Sorry to hear that Pharm, and No idea how you broke it....maybe you fractured it some time ago and progressively got worse?

Yeah, that's better than not going at all. It just frustrates me because as you know, I have been trying to bring my legs up and now I'm worried I'll end up even more unbalanced. :(

I have to agree with Mack...

Thanks bro, the only thing I can think is perhaps during some leg movement I created a stress fracture and didn't know it and kept on with daily life which aggravated it. I guess it's just one of those things, but disappointing nevertheless.
