Mainly im just uncomfortable with this gut I have kickin right now! lol I mean, 40-50 pounds IMO is pretty good progress for me, so I'm just going to diet to a nice low BF% and start again from there and stay pretty lean from then on -StOrY-
 
Honestly, if I were you, I would get back into shape like you were with the pic with the girl. You should drop some weight as the weight you gained doesn't look as if it was really any muscle(understand it takes a long time to build quality muscle). Most young guys make the mistake of trying to put on size too fast. I think most girls would prefer your rocker look(hence, Story of the Year):) You put on size but it wasn't quality. The main thing is, what are your future goals? You don't look to be someone who is trying to walk on stage or lift the entire gym, and that is fine, but if you are someone who is just into lifting and trying to build a little bit to look better, the better look was before. Just my thoughts...
 
I think that would be your best bet like Putnam suggests. Get down to 10-12% bodyfat and just workout and take it slow eating a slight surplus of cals instead of bulking to drastic. I would get a true reading of your bodyfat and go from there.
