You will se alot of guys post workouts here that use Westide Barbells traing methods. I use them myself with great success. Other training methods will also be discussed that are also effective. Please don't be shy about posting the things that work for you.

I personally think WSB is the best way to train; however, it is not for everyone and you must remember that it is not written in stone. You have to make it work for you.

I follow the basic template but I have made some adjustments to fit me. One of them was reducing the volume. Many lifters try to go balls out and do what guys with much better conditioning do. They end up over trained and injured. Listening to your body is VERY important.

Agreed. I too cut back the volume and now have learned to limit the band/chain work as well.

I saw no difference in strength from doing 10 sets or 5 sets of squats on the DE day. I think the GPP idea is a good one within limits but at some point you've reached an acceptable conditioning level and anymore cuts into your strength training.

Of course all of this is for the average athlete, if you are a freak like STA and the others, it seems it needs little adjustment....
