Re-reading Fall of Hyperion by Dan Simmons. Just finished Hyperion. Next, Endymion.

Simmons writes brilliant hard science fiction and horror as well. It's hard to find modern authors I really like in science fiction. Simmons, Iain Banks, Alistair Reynolds, Willam Gibson, and Neal Stephenson are my current favorites.

Just added to my list and in keeping with NY Resolution for better organization created a list in AnyList with categories for Books, Television, Film, Podcasts, Music. Normally I rarely follow up on this stuff (admittedly it's not critical or even high on my list) but your review and topic was good enough it made me rethink this and do something about it.

The site leans heavily financial and markets but social/philosophical and some political get in there too. Gonna start this one in a couple dayes, its about the European leader of the Bandidos who was a dane, he is dead now.

I have listened to 3 chapters of this one, while walking dog. The narrator is likely the best in the business. He also did Orphan X which I really enjoyed.

The one below is great entertainment. The main character is funny as fuck with his internal monologue.

Detective/mystery type novel.
