I only watched the first 2 episodes last night. So far it's good but nothing outstanding. I want to watch Vikings or The last Kingdom next but gonna limit myself to 1 episode per day to stop me binge watching them

If guys like serial killer programs I would recommend (in this order) Mindhunter, The Alienist and Manhunt: Unabomber.

I am currently watching Shameless and can just not stop watching it. Don't watch it with the kiddos around though, lots of boobs, drugs, alcohol, violence and sex scenes (some gay).

The gay shit was out of control and for some reasons that show gave me serious anxiety lol so does trailer park boys

Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold.

A fine documentary on an extraordinarily gifted writer.

I much prefer her later writings; Blue Nights and The Year of Magical Thinking
are what hooked me. Now I am in the process of going back through her earlier
writings (I think what has a new collection of essays out) and it is giving me
much pleasure. She is truly a gift.

To add an update: Finally got around to watching the Jack Ryan series. Some of it was a little slow, but the overall story and action sequences made it all worth it. Also, Chris Hemsworth's Extraction was amazing. I'm a bit of a "gun-nut," so anything with quality gunfights, handling, etc will keep me hooked. Basically a 2 hour action scene haha.
