What are you watching on Netflix?

Thanks BMJ.

Stupid question (I don’t own a TV), what episode of part 2, season 4 do I start at to finish up the series?

I really liked the series but the last season took so long to get here I kinda forgot about it until I saw the trailer (good!).

I’ll just sit back on my recliner with my laptop and burn through it to the end. Can’t wait and thanks for the no spoiler 🙏

Just finished Ozark. All in all, a fabulous show in so many ways; acting,
originality (story), cinematography, writing, directing, and locations
for instance. And great to see Laura Linney finally get to direct an episode.

The final episode was a bit convoluted for my taste, too many twists and
turns but it's ending did not surprise or disappoint me. I kind of saw it
coming, that they, the family, would be the only survivors but obviously did
not know how they would pull it off. In retrospect, it is kind of the only
way it could end.

If you have not watched Farwell to Ozark, the special at the end,
please do so. It is wonderful and insightful. You get to see behind the
curtain. I wish I could have been a part of this show.

I typically like adult stuff, psychological thrillers, squid games, post apocalyptic stuff. No silly action movies, comedy, girly stuff, no marvel or super heroes.

CIA or squid games type stuff.

But I found some animated movie I can't stop watching Witcher night of the wolf, no idea why it's so good.

No idea about the series.

I can't wait for Stranger Things starting back up on 5/27! I love those kids, they crack me up, and it's all based from the 80's generation I grew up in, and they cover it all very well. The first 3 seasons were phenomenal, one of my favorite all-time shows...top 3-5 for sure.

I just finished Ozark last night. Great show but the ending pissed me off. The ending to my favorite shows usually doesn’t sit well with me. I loved Dexter but hated the ending. I haven’t seen the new Season of Dexter though. Looking forward to that. I recently finished Queen of the South. I actually enjoyed that ending very much! I enjoyed the ending of Breaking Bad and El Camino too. I think I’ll watch Better Call Saul next. I saw the first season years ago but never finished the series. Prison Break was another I really enjoyed.

Better Call Saul is a slow burn but very much worth watching.

Don’t know if Season 1 is a prerequisite but would not hurt watching it if you haven’t done so.

Netflix has turned horrible. All foreign/dubbed stuff mainly. That being said, Ozark was great.
Peaky Blinders was great. (Already out on the Usenet / NZB sites)...

They are trying to appeal to a much wider audience, think foreign. Smart. I think it is a great business model.

And I happen to like the the foreign films as much, if not more, then the trash that the studios are putting out. (Subtitles are easy to get used to, be patient.) But I am a bit of a cinemaphile (sp) a film snob.

I've gotten used to reading the subtitles, and I agree there are some good foreign movies on Netflix. But only some, I don't relate to a lot of them on a culturally in tune basis and they just don't have the production quality of an American film. The series with subtitles are really got into was Pablo Escobar - El Patron Del Mal. Two recently watched Sicilian mob movies are 365 Days and 365 Days This Day of which I really enjoyed both.

True Lies (CBS) Series Trailer

for the people into foreign films, subtitles etc

I don't agree (respectfully) they are buying cheap programming, and their company is tanking badly (stock, etc)... From 700.00 a share to 165.00 a share.

Yea, they are bleeding cash. (I have owned their stock since before I worked for them. I wonder what my cost basis was? I had no idea their stock took such a dump.) And yea they buy a bunch of content but they do create, have their own foreign content.
I think they are trying to broadcast instead of ‘narrowcast.’

And I had high hopes they would grow through the acquisition of the smaller providers but I have not seen that happening.
