What are your essential supplements?

I won't lie, with Corona and all that my wages are down. Gotta cut back to just the essentials.
Just did the math and chicken breasts are gram for gram about only 40% the same price as protein powder.
So I gotta cut corners somewhere.

What are the last supps that you'd drop from your program?
I'm thinking to keep:
Creatine
Multi-vitamin
Niacin & fish oil (for HDL)
Maybe NAC and a liver protector

How about you? What would you use if you had to cut back to just the essentials?

Find the cheapest but best proteinsources. I use alot of groundchicken, and jasmine rice. Its some of the cheapest proteinsource beside proteinpowder. We have kvarg but i cant eat that in large portions, not good for my gut, but its very cheap proteinsource. For supplements it depends if im on cycle or not. I would cut the NAC, liveraid etc if not on cycle. Creatine is still cheap here so i wouldnt leave that out. And fishoil with vit D i would never cut out. Best supplement for general health in the long run, and very cheap.
If on cycle i would also use NAC. NAC does alot for a lowprice-product, but i dont think its necessary when not using PEDs.

Current stack is:
Creatine
Vit D3
Vit K2
Omega 3
Zinc
CoQ10
Red rice yeast

NAC whenever I use an oral

Fish oil (4caps a day)
D3 5000iu a day
Vitamin E 400iu
Zinc
Berberin
Creatine
Probiotic/digestive enzyme
NAC
Baby aspirin
Metformin
Benadryl
Half a caffeine pill
Half a bronkaid
Metoprolol 25mg

Not all vitamins, but it’s everything in my weekly pill containers and it hasn’t changed at all in about a year

D3
B complex
Magnesium
Zinc
Curcumin
Ala
Digestive enzymes

Vitamins C, D3 and K2
DIM
Digestive enzymes
Curcumin
Ubiquinol
Berberine
Omega 3
Pre/Probiotics
Mushroom blend
Zinc/Magnesium/Melatonin blend

Besides my protein powders and eaa intra drink supplements are..
Curcumin
Berberine
Citrus bergamot
Aspirin
D3
Vitamin c
Multi vitamin

fish oil
astragalus
multivit
vit d3 + k2
berberine
nattokinase
vit c
taurine
baby aspirin
magnesium bysglicinatea
salt
selegenine (it's a med but i use like nootropic)
once a week drip of glutathione + fluimucil + samyr + vit c

Thorne Betaine HCL & Pepsin
NOW Berberine
Pure Encapsulation Mag Glyc
THorne Super EPA

Sadly, I’ve managed to convince myself that 25 (?) different supps are “essential” and I really need them.

Really need to trim the list. Badly.

I take way too much crap. Not good.
My numbers top that. My hands would cramp from the typing. I go years at a time without 1 day sick. But figure most of what i take probably doesn't really do much, but they have become a habit. As the years go by i add in the things that would seem to be best for my particular situation and get rid of those that no longer apply. But still think that food including frsh fruits and veggies will do more then pills and powders will.

If cutting back on cost I would say
Multi
Vit c -
Something for heart like coq10
Omega - or u can get it from more fish in diet
Creatine- u can get from protein although it is cheap to supplement

Vegan multi vitamin. (My wife is a vegan so I take what she takes.) I am not a vegan.

I take more but my absolute essentials are...

Multi Vitamin
Fish Oil
Vitamin D3
Ubiquinol
Nattokinase

I think the first 3 are essential for most people unless they eat a lot of oily fish then you could take fish oil out. Although even if you do that it's always beneficial topping up omega 3 intake. The last 2 are used because I personally need them but they are by no means essential for most people.

I also use vitamin c, retinol, flaxseed oil, b complex, gaba, melatonin and collagen.

Essential? The only things I’d consider truly essential are my thyroid rx and TRT. But I take far more than that lol. If I had to pair down and limit it to a short list it would be:

HRT - thyroid and test. I use HGH but I don’t feel it rises to the level of essential.
Injectable choline - I can’t emphasize enough how big an impact this stuff has made for me.

Metformin
Injectable carnitine
Injectable B vitamins
Fish oil
Taurine
Ubiquinol
Citruline
ZMA
Chromium

Ditto !!

Ps. 3.5 years now w/o even the sniffles. Could be the supps. Could be genetics. Who the flip knows.

I typically go 3-5 years at least without a day sick. My record is 8 years. Started living with a vegetarian 25 years ago and stayed with her for 10 years and did all the cooking( i would batch cook/grill my meat). Still cook a lot of veggies. I believe it pays off. Growing up i got sick as much as most people. But i take all my supps just in case.

8 years?! That’s killer lol you’re doing something right!
