What are your top 3 (must have) daily supplements?

I was taking more supplements than I could count at one point, it wasn’t random everything had a rhyme or reason but it was like 15 pills a day at one point if not more if I was taking full doses.

I did some blood work then stopped taking EVERYTHING for 3 months and did blood work again. There was no difference in any of the numbers I was specifically taking supplements for.

I still take a decent amount of stuff because I’m a hard headed donkey but just food for thought….
Definitely been down that road. Even made an excel sheet with justification and daily/weekly cost for each supp lol. But I'm an ocd jackass when it comes to things like that. I've dropped to less than half of what I used at the time, but it would still make gen pop cringe looking at my supp cabinet.

I use very minimal anymore. Cialis for pumps and blood pressure, vitamin d3, magnesium glycinate, fish oil, whey iso, karboload, dextrose, eaa’s, glycerol. I think that’s it. Also, I use extra sodium like a supplement pre workout and throughout the day. Oh….and 1-200 mgs of caffeine pre workout depending on bodypart

I’m at the point now where I find little to no use for any supplements really. I just eat good food as often as I can and don’t over eat. It’s easy being older with no appetite. But as far as supplements my only real mainstay is 3-5000 mg of vitamin c daily. It might do something because the 25 years of shotgunning high dose vitamin c after I read a book from Linus Pauling about its importance and how it actually killed cancer cells and super boosts immunities I never stopped. And I never get sick. Only a few times in my entire life have I actually had a cold or flu. Might be some truth to what that Nobel prize winner compiled

While I believe you, I think we all take a lot of these supplements for the long term benefits that they might give. At least I do.

I use at least 10 more supps on and off, coq10, mag , astragalus ,etc

we should have done a poll. we could include like 10 of the most popular choices that way we can hammer out the 3 most viable

I see Vit D3 mentioned alot on here and I dont think I have ever taken it
 
if we get enoujgh vit d from 15-20 min sun exposure, or in a multivitamin @ 1000iu per day, what is point of supplementing? convince me ill play devils advocate

If you don’t mind, what reason do you use Taurine for? I also use it but I’m curious why you do. And nearly everyone is deficient in vitamin d. Watch and read some of Stan Efferding’s stuff on vitamin d supplementation

I simply don't get enough of the above from normal life (eat very little fish) so supplementing with them optimizes my health. Some other supplements I consider very important for me include...

Synthetine (L-Carnitine)
Synthergine (Liver protector)
ZMA
Vitamin C
Glutamine
Taurine

The above I rotate through the year for various reasons. All are fantastic supps. I get a lot of vit c from my diet so it's by no means essential but I find taking a higher dose very beneficial.
