What can cause low potassium levels and super high creatinine levels?

Your on a ton of various medications I think this is the root of your problem. Do you really need all these meds? Does a single doctor prescribe all these? I can't imagine One doctor would advise you to be on all that

Man I’ll have patients that I have to get two medicine cups to fill because there are so many. It’s NOTHING to have all your patients on 8+ daily meds. Hell I’ve had patients with 12-14 meds, and that’s not even counting all the god damn pain meds they take PRN.

You drastically underestimate how terrible the average 50 year old American’s heath is.

If you need to up your potassium levels I recommend salting your meals with something like nu salt (potassium chloride). You can buy the name brand from walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nu-Salt-Salt-Substitute-3-Oz/30912598?from=/search or do what I do and buy it from amazon and save a ton of money https://www.amazon.com/BulkSupplements-Potassium-Chloride-Powder-Kilogram/dp/B00ENS39XK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3AZ6ZTTWSOM85&keywords=nu+salt&qid=1698358193&sprefix=nu+salt,aps,108&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1. I use this and iodized salt on all of my meals and also in my home made electrolyte drink.

If his potassium is that low, there is a pathological reason. Something’s fucked up, and I wouldn’t reccomend increasing dietary intake right now. If I had to guess….the rhabdo caused acute kidney failure. Due to myoglobin fucking up the proximal tubules and the massive amount of iron released from the lysed muscle cells. Free iron causes reactive oxygen species (ROS) damage.

Kidney disease can cause both increased or decreased potassium as it messes with excretion and/or resorption. The lasix further exacerbated the potassium loss.

Have they checked your eGFR?

I’ve had my kidneys tested and it was fine also my liver is good.
I highly doubt over the counter meds will work since I’m on prescription potassium which is a lot higher than what they sell in stores.
To the person that replied 15 meds is a lot I’m on about 30 meds .
