Alright folks, I am gonna post them for you all to critique me...I can handle it.

I need to bring my backside up a ton, but constructive critisicism welcome. I got a lot of muscling up to do!!

I just got some better quality pics sent to me from the competition. I was a middleweight as you all know. I got 1st in the Novice and 2nd in the Open. All of the pics are for the Novice Overall Posedown. I wish I had more of the middleweight division, but I do not. I am #61, green trunks. Again, I am 5'6 and 170lbs in these pics.

Your condition was good for the show, IMO you look good overall, a little more muscle size will get you that 1st in the open. Do basic heavy movements in the off season. Remember, 5 pounds of muscle added on your frame, at 5"6" on stage will go far. Train hard!

Thanks Pesty....I promise to pound out those heavy movements this offseason! Just hope to get better!

I lost to Luis Santa in the Open Middleweight Division at the Mayhem, Luis went on to win the Welterweights at the Jr Nationals this year and is competing in the USA's this weekend. He is cool ass dude and wish him the best of luck this weekend!

That is a good placing, behind a guy of that calibur! Just be consistant and train hard and that will be you.;)

You look great......you are what you are.......you cant change your shape........you can be bigger but does that make you better? Maybe.....Be Lenny......you are doing your best now right? IF you are not doing your best then I would tell you to do your best........I cant say 5th, 1st, 3rd next time.......you cant tell who will show up.......who cares who shows up.....try yor best, believe in what you do, do not worry about chasing anothers physique ideal........be happy
 
Classic Phil's reply, and he's spot on.

As for me, Lenny, and although I really don't have any advice to give you cause YOU LOOK FANTASTIC the way you're doing your thing right now, I still think your hamstrings and calves can improve greatly if you train them properly... genetics can't be the sole reason they're lagging behind. :p ;)

Your shape from the front is just EXCELLENT. :)
 
Quad and ham thickness, calves and back thickness.

From the front you look great. You have great shape to your legs and upper body....i think a little more quad size would even you out from top to bottom. From the back is where i think you need to really focus.

Like Phil said though.....overall you look great, just gotta add more dense muscle to your frame.
 
You should be Proud. YOu Look Great.. Work Hard and Stay Focused... Keep us posted with Progress Photo's.. Inspiring to the rest of us..
 
Wow Lenny, you were in great condition and I agree that you have a great shape. Seems like you were having fun on stage so I'm sure it was a cool experience for you. You know what you need to improve so just go for it:p
 
Thanks guys for the feedback. I believe that I can always get better and will use the feedback to work on my weaknesses. I am 28 years old, so I am not in any hurry, just going to bang it out with full effort on all aspects and see what happens! You all are motivation to me and support, so I will see what happens. My attitute with life is STRONG MIND, STRONG BODY with the mentality of never, never give up - I try to apply this to life, not just bodybuilding.

Again, thanks for the feedback, it always helps.

You look pretty damn good to me, very symetrical, aesthetic and balanced. You look better than I tought you did, because most of the pics that you posted in the past were from too close these are accurate views of the entire body.

I would say just gain equally all around, you don't want to ruin your aesthetic appeal. So If I had to give any advice at all it would be to gain quality muscle slowly and not do anything too extreme.

I agree with all the assessments everyone else has given, BUT your conditioning COULD have been better, especially your ass and hams. Part of that will come with more hamstring development though.

Thanks Shelby, I totally agree with you all, I need to bring up my back side from head to toe, I plan on working on that...and you are freakin shredded right now, stick it out these last 3 weeks (I know you will) and it will be very rewarding...then on to Nationals you go!

Quality doesn't grow over night. Be patient and willing to stick around a long time. People that take short cuts,.... just short cut themselves. Take a nice slow progression through the ranks of competition. Dont rush to try to prove anything.. You have proven you can compete, now prove your consistancy..

Bodybuilding is journey, not a destination. Think long term, good quality gains need planning and hard work all year long.. Sorry for the lecture.. it was meant to be helpfull.

Alex, that is very helpful and totally need to staple that in my head...I will stick the journey out and you are totally right short cuts always end to a dead end, not gonna short cutting here. I am not gonna lie, you all have been a great help and I use your all wisdom to help continue the journey...I like challenges, so I see this as a fun journey with hard work. I think if I tried to short cut, my wife would kick my ass anyways;) Thanks for the advice my friend.
