What do u think about this study?

So to synopsize, 32 sets of volume weekly per muscle group was more effective for hypertrophy and strength than 16 sets? Did I read that correctly? Essentially, more volume is better? And at 32 sets per muscle group sounds like a lot of hours in the gym.
 
Ehh we have beat these studies to death on here.....

concentric muscle failure....food diary’s....

If you had 16 sets of leg curls in one workout....how effective are the sets after the 3rd-4th set if your going to true “failure”....zero...it’s junk volume.

if your sandbagging to Survive that...you’d probably quit 3-4 reps shy of failure from every set. Hell I would.
 
It comes down to effort. Effort is the primary driver of growth. The more volume a person does the less effort they can handle. The higher the effort the the lower the volume. If you’re doing 32 sets how many effective reps are you actually doing?
How do you measure your sets? Does it include warmup and feeder sets?
It says that the subjects had all trained for at least a year before. Do you remember your first couple years in the gym? I remember mine. I didn’t know what I was doing and I responded to everything. These studies are borderline useless.
