What do you eat/drink post workout?

50g whey isolate... Then I usually eat something within an hour. Can of tuna and some wheat bread usually.
 
I get home at about 8PM from the gym, about 30 minutes after the workout.

My meal is 500 grams of lean beef, chicken, or pork, with about 1.5 cups of frozen mixed veggies and a few glasses of water.
 
4-5 scoops of TwinLabs Ultra Fuel
Turkey Sandwich
Peanut Butter Sandwich
 
pre workout= a few d-bol,endorush and a protein shake!
 
When I get home
50g whye iso

20-30mins later
.75-1lb sirloin steak
green veggies of some sort

30mins after that
protein sludge with PB
50g protein 16g fat and 12carbs
 
Some form of protein (lean beef or chicken) and some fruit
 
Post Workout last night:

12 oz. Steak
Roasted Root Veggies (potato, parsnips, turnup, carrot, Onion - all roasted in olive oil)
and, last but not least:
1 Litre frozen mug full of Spatan Oktoberfest Beir


That meal will put some hair on your Balls.
 
Right now I take animal nitro when done training then when I get home I eat 3/4 a cup brown rice 2 cups green veggies and 8 ounces protion 1 tablespoon oil. That's what my nutritionist has me doing

For most of my training "career", post workout nutrition was never discussed because the human body wasn't evolved enough to handle it. Remarkably, gains were made, muscles built and big weights lifted before the advent of post workout nutrition (never abbreviated heretofor as PWO). It was an awesome time.

Now, almost two decades later the human organism has adapted to exercise to such a degree that post workout nutrition is now the only thing that matters. In fact, you have to eat during your workout too. I'm not even sure if you really workout anymore - just go to a restaurant (or a Smoothie King) and do pushups and burpees between bites.

So do you qualify for post workout nutrition? Follow these simple rules to find out:

1. If after a workout you can drink a post workout drink - YOU DON'T F*CKING DESERVE IT! Throw it up! Give it to someone that needs it! You didn't work hard enough, fat boy.

2. If after a workout you are so drained and nauseaus that you can't even bear to stomach a post work out drink, DRINK IT! YOU NEED IT! THROW IT UP IN THE BLENDER AND DRINK IT AGAIN! You qualified.

So either way, you are going to puke it up. Thus no reason to drink it.

I have 1 scoop of Optimum Whey prior to workout
During: Sip 1 scoop of Optimum 2:1:1
After: Slam heaping scoop of 2:1:1 with 1 scoop whey & take ALA

1.5 hours later:
7-8 oz lean beef, chicken (sick and tired of this bird) or salmon.
2 Peices of fruit.
1-1/2 cups baked squash
about 3 large carrotts
3 Omega 3 fish caps
multi
b-compled with C
Rexveratrol
zinc
magnesium
CoQ10
n-acetyl cystein
folic acid
 
75 minutes prior is 5oz chicken beast, oats, and an apple.
25 minutes prior carb free NOX product of some sort(currently using vasocharge)
During I sip on a carb free BCAA drink of some sort
Post 3 scoops NLarge and 2-3 rice cakes (~40G Protein and ~80G Carbs)
2 hours post I have 5 oz. chicken again with only limited carbs.

bowl of grapes and couple scoops of whey or PB&J and couple scoops of whey.

Karbolyn and protein worked very well for me too.
 
Fruit, or granola, and 1.5 oz of LBAs
