as others have stated above: accutane. it's a miracle. watch out for liver toxicity, however. When i had it prescribed from the doc, i was required to give blood samples each month for 6 months for them to check liver values. I was prescribed 40mg 2x/day. Everything was fine through my course. Two years later, it came back. I couldn't afford the stuff then, (it's like $400 for a 30 day supply), or now...so i use the stuff that the sponsors have (which works just as well).
You'll also need to take it with a HIGH FAT meal to get good absorption. It's a retinoid, which are compounds related to vitamin A. They are all virtually insoluble in water, so you won't absorb much without a good oil base. Mix the solution into a protein shake with a few tablespoons of olive oil and you'll get great results. If you have it in pill/capsule form, then make sure you take it with some oily foods.
For the side effects, like dry lips, you'll want to keep some neosporin or vaseline handy. Chap-stick won't work too well, (at least in my experience), and seems to make the lips even dryer. Neosporin those up each night, and possibly a little in your nostrils if you start getting a dry nasal passage.
Hope that helps
