What do you put in your smoothies for a boost?

What do you guys put in to boost your smoothies?

I just got back into consuming shakes again to cut back on meats and to get in more cals/nutrients easily.

I've been making every day two 20oz shakes with 1% milk, strawberries, banana, blueberries, brussel sprouts or squash, almonds, pb, and of course whey. It actually tastes pretty damn good and easy on my stomach. Plain shakes just upset my stomach.

I'm thinking about adding some more stuff like maybe some chia seeds or spirulina.

Honey, peanut butter and quick oats......

Chia seeds, cinnamon powder, raw cocoa, coffee

for nutrition I start with Almond Milk Natural flavored with some probiotic juice, then I add ground up seeds ( Chia,Flax,Sunflower,Sesame and Pumpkin) 2 TBSP, handful of Kale or Spinach, 1 scoop Orac-Energy Greens, 2 scoops MRM All Natural Gainer (vanilla) love this powder and finish it off with a Handful of Blueberries all in the nutri-blend. All my clients love it for every reason under the sun. you can mix up the fruit or do peanut butter and bananas or also throw in some almonds for additional fat and calories. I dont believe in MR but this is close 1st.

Banana, peanut butter and greens super foods powder sometimes.

There are many things you could use in smoothie for a big boost such as honey, lemon, coffee, cocoa etc.

What I personally use are synthepure, apples, kiwis, bananas, pineapple, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, oats and spinach. I keep my smoothies fairly low calorie and made up of fruit and whey isolate with some greens. I don't but adding a fat source would only help and many tend to add to the taste/texture of the shake. I would recommend cashews, avocado, coconut oil, peanut/almond/cashew butter, walnuts etc.

This is mine: Frozen mixed berries, greek yogurt, Whey Isolate, little water, stevia.

Heavy cream
Whole eggs
Oats
Coffee
Creatine
PB or AB
Protein powder

I usually just do a mix of various berries and about 4 scoops (100g protein) per shake twice a day.

If I add stuff its usually bananas and ice cream lol.

Unflavored Psillium seed husk. Helps everything on the way out and additional dietary fiber never hurt for cholesterol.

Edit: also makes it feel way more filling as far as appetite goes.

1/4 cup yogurt,
Scoop protein power
Two tbs peanut butter
Oats
Fruit
Egg or two
Milk

honey is your choice.
