if you’ve ever spent anytime in those meetings, outside of prison, a majority of the ppl there are strong in their beliefs. they consider anything that is mind or mood altering as “using drugs”How so ? when i was in prison for steroids, they tried to put me in one of those get of drugs programs, so i was sitting there with pill heads, Meth addicts etc.. was so weird and even the counsler and the addicts where like "why are you here my guy ?"
True but I guess I meant it more like if you ask someone if his on aas it’s because his big. And asking someone if they are gay is that they look it.Haha. Both are personal questions but asking someone if they use aas could be taken as a compliment, while implying a man may not be straight...those are fighting words lol.
Ah i see, well i havent gone to any meetings outside of prison since i was forced there.if you’ve ever spent anytime in those meetings, outside of prison, a majority of the ppl there are strong in their beliefs. they consider anything that is mind or mood altering as “using drugs”
you could get caught up in the semantics and go as far as calling coffee or cigs “using drugs”. I wouldn’t but some do
I know a number of ppl who go and they have to keep their gear use quiet (even if it is clear as day) because ppl have their opinions.
so as the topic was asked I wondered what ppl here who go/have gone to recovery meetings say if the topic of steroids comes up
I don’t want to get too specific but most of my life was on the wrong side of the law (even though my wife was a police officer lol). And most of it revolved around drugs even though aside from gear I never really did any drugs. I was forced to do random drug tests and counseling for a number of months and walking into those places reminded me how thankful I was I never got into using. I never mentioned gear and I knew they weren’t testing for it, so obvious ir not I saw no reason to give them any ammunition or reason to make things worse for me. I really think they weren’t concerned with it though, it was all revolving around rec drugs and that was their big focus obviously.so as the topic was asked I wondered what ppl here who go/have gone to recovery meetings say if the topic of steroids comes up
This was so me also. I had never touched anything in my life and I got accused of it. I'm 6'1 and got to about 240 naturally. At 32 I did my first cycle and never looked back. One thing I have realized is "the ordinary people" are really ignorant. Now days if you have even the slightest bit of muscle you get accused. Gear use is so prevalent its just "assumed" now. Although I'm shocked when I find out about some of the guys in my gym who are using. I'm usually like "that guy is on juice". He sure don't look it. To me I think its sad how many of these really young guys are doing it. But they will most likely all burn out.
dude, when I first moved to Columbus 15 years ago, I trained at gym that was definitely a bodybuilding gym, but wasn't a scenario where everyone was huge and jacked type of deal, just a few. Anyway, that is the gym I met, and befriended John Meadows in. One day we are bullshitting, and the conversation ends up about being gear. I was soo fuckin ignorant to that entire world. Anyway he is like "you would be surprised how many guys (and gals) are on something that train here. He enlightened me, and it was a bit of a shock, because 10-15% of the number of people he mentioned actually looked good. I always just assumed that if you were using shit, it might not be obvious, but you'd at least look really good lolDudes love to come up to me and tell me what their cycle is. At the bar, the gym, the sauna. And gyatt damn most of them barely even look like they lift. And they're often running some wild shit like tren and orals.
