What gauge insulin needle for IM injection?

I've heard that some people use insulin needles for IM injections of AAS. What gauge needle is typically used for this?

Whether you use a 28, 29 or 30 what difference is it going to make.

All of them will be somewhat of a bitch to load and inject unless you're into warming up the oil first.

Even then its no cake walk.

why use a slin pin for your AAS? 25g do not cause that much scar tissue unless you pin in exactly the same spot time and again.
good luck using one of those small insulin pins tho

I've heard of that too, but I just use a 27g. Warm it up and it goes nice.

I would assume it would make a difference because the viscosity of the oil would make injecting almost impossible at a certain gauge. Also, I'm a little scared of having an extremely thin needle going IM in the case that the needle breaks.

I've used all those sizes I listed. Not much difference between them.

I use a 29g slin for the delts. I back load it so as not to dull or bend the needle in the stopper and yes, I warm the barrel up under hot water before pinning.

29ga 1/2" works great for me - quads and delts. I kick myself in the ass for not trying them sooner. I used 25ga 1 1/2" for glutes for years. Slin pins are the way to go imho.

Use 23g 1.5 in glute 25g 1 inch everywhere else i pin. I was reading up on using slins but then i also heard to make sure you are injecting deep enough into the muscle so i dont use slins pers.

23 g is standard IM unless it's a child or infant.

25 g can be slow if gear is thick. Al it of it is.

I only use Slin pins for IGF IM shots.

always used 29g slins but recently got 27x1/2" slins on accident and it probably cut down the load time by 30%... i like them

depends what ur injecting. short esters usually are made with more solvents less oil or thinner oil so u can use a 25 gauge or even for TNE a slin pin. long esters usually made with more oil and are thicker so a 22gauge. then i always order a set of 20gauges for drawing it out then switch to smaller for injecting

Depends on long you want to sit there. 25g or 23g for me. They actually accidentally gave me 22 last time.
