What happen when you eat carbs and fat in same meal?

Ex:

-2 whole eggs
-1 cup whole milk
-1 cup oats without sugar big oats

Meal with alot of saturated fat and carbs?
 
Your meal gets digested better, you will absorb more of the nutrients in that meal.
Should never have carbs without adequate amounts of fat with them, the carbs will do all those things we are told about if fat is NOT present to slow the digestion of them.
Exception is post work out , maybe...

Would combining Eggs, Whole milk and a fruit Like a Banana be better than combining Eggs, Whole milk and a Grain like oatmeal?

If im not mistaken, Fruits have more nutrients than Oats?

So the fat in the eggs and whole milk mixed with the banana?
 
Why have I always seemed to read that meals should be more geared towards fat/pro or carb/pro and not a combination of the two - when dieting. It makes sense from a digestion standpoint of course, but from the stance of maintaining lean mass I've always read to separate the two when possible (especially post workout) to avoid (what i'm assuming) insulin spikes shuttling large amounts of fat unecessarily.
 
I've always found it interesting that most traditional meals from every culture are usually fairly well balanced in protein, carb, and fat content.

Meal with eggs, milk and oats is good. This foods separately are full of protein, carbs and other needed nutrients. It's ok to eat carbs, fat and protein in same meal
