If everyone here would of invested that extra loot into stock or your 401k accounts in the last 4 years you would be in a much better position with rate of return on average at 20% and most recently over 30% vs gambling on crypto. Im so glad I didn't get sucked in. Very tempting to do so when long time members like baldnazi, pesty, Elvia and JB1 with there overly optimistic post is really hard not to take a gamble. Live and learn.

ETH jumped over the 700 mark. I am feeling happy, but won't sell anything yet. I think we have only begun to see the climb. Bitcoin hits over 28,000. People were laughing when they were making predictions of 25K to 50K.

Few of us hung on when things got tough. I don't think we even begun to see the market yet. If they ever changed from Fiat to Digital, some people will be turning into millionaires who invested.

hope all is well pesty. crazy how much money we need in 2020, i believe the new middle class is a millionaire, talking about net worth. million net worth is baby money when we look at the big picture

Yep, a million in America doesn't mean a lot any more. Exactly why I moved to Romania living debt free, including my house and vehicles. Here you could live comfortably on 25K a year. Cost of living is cheap if you stay away from tourist traps. I am retired doing what I want and living good with redisual incone. I am hoping we get this virus crap behind us. Next adventure is riding my Harley Davidson to a few countries.

I wonder how Maverick went thru all this, i remember him buying up 'shit' coins and hoping one of them went up considerably

I have always stated I didn't know a great deal about crypto and I started it a few years ago and posted about my issues getting a coinbase account and all the other start up issues many still experience. I invested years ago in the likes of Iungo and BountyOX because of this thread. Obviously we knew years back they were a total waste and I lost my money in those. But over the last year or 2 I have always stated I think ETH and BTC are good investments if bought during the lows. That advice is given by many on here so it's not like I came out with that info but if anyone followed that advice they would be very happy right now.

When ETH hit $100-300 I was telling them to invest in it because I knew it would go back up. I got one of my mates to invest in ETH when it was low. It's just crashed today but ETH is still over $1000 and BTC is $35,500 so the returns are massive. Some people have made 10-3 times their money. When they crashed last time I couldn't invest and I wish I did. Last time I invested in ETH at about $500 and I have doubled my money so whilst I am still poor I can't complain because I have doubled my money in a relatively short time.

People have made money in stocks as well so great for them and everyone just needs to read, research and decide for themselves. I am just happy crypto has done so good recently because my mate has made a lot of money and I have doubled my money because at one time it was looking really bad. People have always posted and anyone who has followed crypto can see how volatile it is and it is a gamble. It shoots up an down but I am just happy looking at where it is now because anyone who has invested in those couldn't have lost any money. Now sure many of the ALT coins went to shit so we learn a long the way.

I think anytime in the past (obviously during dips) BTC or ETH have turned out to be good investments. They may go up loads in the future but I would never recommend people buy them now for obvious reasons (near their all time highs). Now if ETH crashes again to 500 or below I think it should be a decent investment as we have seen now a pattern and how crazy their values can move up/down.
