What is going on with my calves????

seriously i must have some weird gene cause i have been losing my hair on the back of my calves. i mean like patches of hair that are completely GONE. i dont keep my legs shaved all year and was about to shave and i noticed completely bald patches on the back of my calves. and its not a gradual transition from hair to hairless, it looks like someone went psycho with clippers

My guess is that it has something to do with your calves being big and rubbing against your pants or you wear high socks or both. I get it too on the back of my calves, but in the summer when I wear shorts most of the time it seems to come back a bit. I have a couple of friends who work construction and wear work boots with those 70's style tube socks all the time. They have the same problem so I would not get too freaked out about it unless it is in fact mange... which would be totally disgusting.

yeah my calves are pretty jacked, i have good genetics for them, or maybe it was cause i was a FAT kid and my legs grew to support my fat ass. i live in NY and its just turning into shorts season maybe it is cause they rub on my pants or something

are your pants legs or something else rubbing the back of your legs all day???

hmmmmm, whenever i go to do ham curls, some hairy dude's calf hairs are stuck on the pad

im almost bald front and back on the calfs.. my work boots are 8" so 12 hrs plus a day, sweating rubbing....=BALD
