Im not worried so much about burning fat or anything, just as far as cardio health what is needed? Is it actually the length of time you do something or the amount of energy expended that gives the benefit?
For years I always thought for some reason that jogging was the elite way of burning fat and fortifying your cardiovascular system until I realized how much jogging has beat up my knees and how catabolic it is towards muscle.
Would walking on an inclined treadmill or even something like rollerblading be easier on the knees and as beneficial?
