I have some Zymoplex and Dabur brand tamoxifen. They are both 20 mgs/each per pill. They both say Tamoxifen (as citrate) 20 mg. I know that it takes about 30% more tamoxifen in the citrate form to = tamoxifen. Thus ~30 mg Tamoxifen citrate = 20 mg tamoxifen. I am confused with the labeling on the package, though. Are these brands telling me I have 20 mgs of tamoxifen citrate, or 20 mgs of standardized tamoxifen (that happens to be in the citrate form - which is = to ~30 mgs of tamoxifen citrate)? If I confused you, I'm sorry as I have confused myself. What I want to know is if I wish to take 20 mg of tamoxifen, should I take 1 pill or 1 1/2 pills of what I have?
