I am thinking

a) cant take beta blocker cause dont want to block Beta receptors taht burn fat or decrease endurance

b) Diuretics dont want to increase any electrolyte imbalance that will allready be caused by Gear

c) ACE or ARB dont want to risk kidney toxicity because only cycling for like 10 weeks.

that leaves only calcium channel blocker. Is that what most of you guys are on? if so which calcium channel blcoker?

ACE or ARB is your best choice. I have been on them for years and never a single issue. They are good safe drugs IMO. The ARB that worked well for me was Benicar, and I used that back when I was cyclling AAS.

It's going to depend on the origination of the hypertension. Use of AAS is not an originator. It's use can trigger elevated pressure within one or a combination of all three trigger areas. Most Docs will start with a calcium channel blocker. Altace is easy on the system and effective at low doses for most young people (age 50 and under).
Ace inhibitors are predominantly prescribed with regards to Renal Artery Stenosis. With no other health issues it's not likely to be your culprit with just using AAS.

i'm a newb to bp meds but...

i told my doc i didn't want certain bp meds for the same reasons you stated so we went with a vasodialator. the one prescribed to me was lesinipril (sp?)

instead of using it i evaluated what was important in my life and decided to quit the stupid shit i was on and in little less than 3 months took my blood pressure from 177/110 all the way down to 130/80:headbang:

i am very proud of that.
anyway, sorry if non of that applies to you. i was just doing things and things in amounts i should not have been.

In a recent BB magazine article, I read that some study somewhere showed that 1 cup of beet juice daily reduces diastolic BP significantly. No joke.

I know beet juice isn't a "med", but if it works well enough, is safe & cheap, then why not use it?

I never used beet juice for this purpose, but I can tell you from experience that it's most palatable if diluted in other fruit or veggie juices...

This would be incorrect. ACE-I are commonly prescribed to prevent decline in kidney function. Some people may experience a rise in Scr after initiating them but this usually does not necesitate discontinuing the medication(The rise in Scr is usually minor).

ACE-I or ARBs are still a good choice for BP control.

I currently take a combination of Norvasc and Vasotec. Or a Calcium channel blocker and a ACE-I. I have also been on Lotrel(CCB/ACE-I combo also). Both have worked very well to control by BP.

What's worked really well for me, especially on Tren is daily Cialis.

GABA, Valerian root and L-arganine all help me a great deal.

Valerian root works awesome.

Also Kava Kava works well but needs to be handled with discretion by some.

Absolutely.

I've been on Ramipril for a few years now, and my BP is always perfect. So are my creatinine levels...

This the answer. Forget all this crap about ACEs, ARBs, etc. Try Cilais first, go from there. Since you don't seem to suffer from a serious health problem like many of the people on this thread giving you advice do, it is highly unlikely you will need anything more than Cialis.

Rex.
