what jobs test for steroids?

Mostly just law enforcement jobs. And I only think they test on initial test bc damn I know some cops that are jacked no way in hell they are natural.

Because their use is not common compared to recs, and because the tests are expensive, most employers will not test for steroids.

I was in a police academy a long time ago, and they didn't test for steroids, although I heard they would if they suspected you of it. It seems that in most agencies, once you are in you can do whatever you want.
My ex GF became an LE officer; she says many of the guys do coke while partying on the weekend and sometimes drink and drive.
We didn't talk about AAS, but if they don't worry about recs, I highly doubt they worry about AAS.
I have heard that NYPD is getting more keen to the whole AAS thing, but I that is just something I heard.

I think CO's are tested far more strictly with drug related stuff because that is how most drugs get into prisons/jails.

Probation test costs are out of this world...like upwards of $150+. random urine drops need an excess of 30ml's of urine to collect a specimen, while AAS urine tests are well over 200ml's of urine to conduct an actual test.

i have a friend who is a nurse in a hospital and is in a monitoring program with the state board of nursing. they test for street drugs, medications that realistically can only be gotten inside of a hospital (like some narcotics, sedatives, paralytics only used in surgery), stuff like benadryl and ephedrine, etc....even test for etg, a metabolite of alcohol that makes exposure to ANY ethyl alcohol product show up for 4-5 days....and never once has he had a test pop positive for gear.
