I searched for this and was surprised this hasn't been a thread yet.

Ive been in this game for a minute, and ill be honest, protecting my health was not a priority for me but im making changes to that recently.

The fourm search functions is pulling specific wording. If you search the web with your queries with similar non-specific wording including professionalmuscle.com — that'll generally pull up what you're looking for.

You might consider adjuvantly adding some glycine at a 1:1 ratio to your NAC. You could pair these two with your sleep stack. Apigenin could compliment these as well, purportedly it may enhance autophagic flux.

What time are you taking your melatonin?

You feel that you're getting sufficient prebiotic food sources in-conjunction with your probiotics?

ALCAR pairs well with ALA. I'd suggest Na r-ALA. Little better stability over regular ALA.

Never knew that NAC and glycine would be synergistic. I’ll grab some more glycine tomorrow. I’ve used it before for sleep, and I think it was good, but there was too many variables to measure. I’ll definitely give it another try if you’re mentioning it. Haven’t heard of apigenin before though, I’ll definitely need to research that a bit.

Melatonin usually like 40 mins or so before bed. Not sure if that’s the best timing, just kind of winging it

Never really measured the prebiotics in food if I’m being honest. I feel like I get a decent amount, but whatever I lack there I think the supplements over account for. These are the ones I use. They have some overlap in function, so maybe overkill, but it’s worked well for digestion for me.

The peptide version of ALCAR does interest me. Heard it’s very impressive for endurance and has some good fat loss benefits. I guess if the oral version has good bioavailability that might be a way easier alternative

Has the magnesium helped with sleep? Usually 2x edible + 40mg melatonin has me out...but been waking up at 4 am can't fall back asleep for 2 weeks. A co worker said magnesium keeps him out

Yeah magnesium has been a massive help for sleep (the glycinate version)

I’d highly recommend it if you haven’t used it . It’s been great for me

You may want to readjust your timing with your melatonin. If your circadian secretion of endogenous melatonin is firing as it should in a pulsatile manner– a few hours before your scheduled bedtime. Consider taking your melatonin a few hours before you head to bed. Your sleep hygiene is pivotal along with this, namely dimming lights and emptying the trash out of thee ole jelly-filled hydroxyapatite.

NAC and glycine combo at one time was considered the pinnacle of reversing- hampering cellular aging.

Read up on apigenin. I like it prebed.
