what shoes are your favorite for the gym?

I love the Nike Air Pegasus+28. They have a 29 now too i think. They are so comfortable and light for running and yet still provide enough support for 90% of my training. I have 2 pair of them they are so good. try em out if you havent, you wont be disappointed.

Ahh, then the free would be that. Free was designed to mimic barefoot running. Thats why they called them free and made commercials of people running around naked. They are also meant to be used progressively when one builds up their stability muscles.

I will say that above the 3.0 mark they increase in sole size but still are barefoot running shoes. I mean they were out there waaaay before any other of these shoes. But this is why the free was designed. I think minimus is a brand term from one of the other barefoot brands.

Not trying to be an ass or anything. Just have some decent knowledge about most Nike products. :)
nike free's are NOT considered a minuimus style shoe. a minimus shoe has NO soft sole. nike free's are like walking on cotton balls. the rubber sole is very soft and far from flat. not trying to be an ass but...

Lol, yeah, it's not minimus. You are right, it's not a new balance shoe... That has a hard outer rubber sole... That is thinner...

Little cotton balls... Soft not flat...

Got it. I now understand your interpretation.

A great shoe for running stability and support. Ran a half marathon in these, Ragnar northwest passage and countless long miles in the 28's. also had a trail pair. Held up really well when I was running around 220 lbs.

I use these here: **broken link removed**

LOVE them. So much, I bought an extra pair. Very lightweight, comfortable, have a bunch of mesh so I feel like my feet breathe more.

my training shoe line up from right to left...

addidas adipower (olympic lifts)
new balance minimus (running, crossfit, deadlift pretty much anything)
innov8 road-x *minimus style shoe (same as above)
nike free 3.0 (running,regular training?non leg days)
nike free run 3 (same as above)

Used the Nike freehaven 3.0 for a bit... For all around training. Switching to janoskis I mentioned on first page. Only use these, even while doing yoke, farmers, sandbag etc. probably need to pick up another pair. Just too lazy to go to the store

Nike Romaleos

Nike Romaleos, cost $200, probably the best $200 I've ever spent.

True, I have Romaleos. Good shoe, feel
Super stable

hands down my favorite

you must try them to believe me !

Most comfortable shoes ever, for sneakers. I have the concords white/blue/black from last year.. One pair I wear, other is on display with his airness' signature on them.. :)

Oh that's dope. Yeah I'm sure they are comfy. I have a pair of white n red 5's with the ice blue sole. Never wear them. Unless I go to a blazer game. j's just got played out I feel. Same with AM90s, especially the infa reds. I have about 8 pairs of janoskis. Maybe 9. I have a sneaker problem :) but who wouldn't when you get 50% off.
