What unique things do you demand/look for in a pre-workout

Let's skip the common ingredients and focus on what you demand or like to see when buying a pre-workout.

(Please don't tell list anything basic that you commonly find in pre workouts over the last several years i.e. caffeine, citrulline, beta alanine and everything else that falls into what you can expect in pre workouts.)
Let's eliminate:
Caffeine
Creatine
Beta Alanine
L tyrosine
L theanine
BCAA
Citrulline
 
DMAA. I realize it's not possible from a sales position. But it's one of the only things that hit.
 
Agmatine always gave me a great pump.

I think arginine nitrate as well.

I do not use those supplements anymore though.

'Those supplements' as in pre workouts? Or just stim-based?

Agmatine may have some decent other uses..but it seems to be outshined by citrulline/citrulline malate and I believe I also heard you don't even want to use Agmatine in conjunction with it. As far as Arginine Nitrate...now we are talking. The entire NO3-T technology (spans about 10-12 products) has piqued my interest the last several months. I am trying to understand more about it but from what I can tell it's just a different nitric oxide pathway.
 
Peak O2: after the short "loading" period this stuff is like natures GW for me. Not as potent of course but not as many questions about long-term safety. I simply resist fatigue so well with this complex.

I also like noopept and hup-a as I prefer more focus/endurance these days and I THINK I may be done with the stim stuff with occasional and rare exceptions.
 
I like two sticks of gum to give me something to focus on
 
I don't really know ingredients of these well but:
1) strong to get CNS moving as I lift in the AM when I get up
2) smooth and no jitters (don't really know I'm on it later and no crash)

I've been using Pre-Jym for a while now. Haven't tried a ton of others but it hits these criteria very well.
 
Nitrosigine. Not really unique but it’s not widespread either, especially in an effective dose

Easy:

1) Glycerol (can't comprehend why not every pre-workout has it in them)

2) Geranamine (banned substance though so probably not what you meant)

All focus. No elevated HR/BP.
Works every time. No crash. No jitters.
No tolerance build up. Even after daily dosing after a year or so.
You will find yourself extremely tired after 48hrs of no use.
But that goes for caffience as well.

Hup-a and Cordyceps are awsome! Cordyceps the main endurance fungus in Peak O2 does take a bit of loading I take it separately since there's something in Peak 02 that makes me feel off.

My preworkout has really always been the same.

200mg caffeine pill or whole moka pot of Cuban coffee
1/2 bronkaid
25mg anavar
Sometimes tren suspension or test suspension

Not saying that preworkouts today aren’t amazing…I’m just set in my ways

Caffeine and bronkaide used to be my go to as well. Circa 1996 up until 2009.
Just got tired of the ephedrine side effects the following day.
Haven't touched ephedrine in forever. It's a very dirty dirty stim. Same with caffeine.

Cream but then my pre-workouts a strong fucking cup of "make it yourself" coffee!
Keeps my wallet a bit fatter as well.
