As I sit here and type this a few things come to mind, one is no amount of drugs are gonna make you the next Mr. O , second thing is if your diet is off than just hang it up now and save your cash and time, because you are relying on "the next cycle" to make you "HUGE" and the last thing is training if you only go to the gym to see the girls or impress your buddies with your max bench you are gonna get hurt or make an ass out of yourself!!!! Now the truth be told I have done all of these thruout the years!!! But since I joined PM my diet has changed,training and my AAS useage is at a minimum!!! Now I'm not saying this has to do with everyone on the board but it seems like there is a rash of people asking "Help with next cycle" and some cat is running 5-6 diffrent drugs at monster doses and when asked about his diet and or traing they get offended and there thread turns into a name calling pissing match!!!! Look I know this is a sport that takes years and years, could a few vets post some pics from there start and where they are now to show us its not and overnight thing like a time line of say 10yrs??


1 DIET
2 TRAINING
3 AAS

but still this will fall on deaf ears and turn into a pissing match:eek:

I know you guys are going to call me out on pics if you want I will post pics from begining to current. starting weight was 119# back in 1990ish. give me timee to get this up. thx.
 
for me, diet, and a trainer is key. no more wasting money, and not knowing what i was doing. also training takes time.

Im not saying dont disclose your cycle but if your gonna run example...

and you are eating buger king and taco bell and wonder why your not seeing any gains and your having lower back pain and your blood pressure is through the roof and your workout looks like chest, and arms 4 days a week you need to go use the search button and look up training and diet before you start playing with "your mass cycle"
 
Based on guy's proclamations of their body fat %s, i've learned i'm a fat ass.

Seriously, i've enjoyed the nutritional info and diet tips most.
 
not to stay on year round, alot of other things but id have to say, thats the most important thing i learned

true protein would have to be the second, it seems it fin lasts forever in bulk

And I met & made friends with some of the Coolest and honest people.

What I learn from coming here? I learn something new every single day I come here. Gotta be the most knowledgeable board around.
 
The 2 things that I have learned and have really helped are proper ways to use GH and peptides.
 
I've learned to sit back, shut up, and listen to the pros. Seriously this is one of the best boards for both information and advice with very little flaming.
 
For me... That a proper clean diet and just a little AAS will get you 10X better results than a bad diet and a boat load of drugs.
 
Thebrick thanks thats what I'm trying to say and yes Shelby there is always someone one bigger and better than you but in your case in better condition??? I say NO WAY !!!!!!!! thanks for the replys guys just trying to get some real feed back and show the younger crowd that its not all about the drugs!!!!!!!
 
BALANCE

Balance all this bodybuilding stuff out with life, it makes for much more of happier result. Do not cut corners, be honest with yourself, and work hard on all aspects. Life is about progression towards getting better, not only with with regards to muscle and strength gains (once bodybuilding loses it fun factor, then time to train/eat for the simply fact that you enjoy it/health)... but with love ones, friends, family, hobbies, and career.

I have learned so much on PM but to break it down for you, Ive learned more about diet and training than anything else.

Diet: I learned I know absolutely nothing about diet, macros, caloric deficit, etc. I have made some great progress in this area but I still have a lot to learn.

Training: Up until I joined this board I was using way too high volume. I was doing over 20 sets on back day and easily over 15 sets per muscle group on everything else. Now Im doing half that and Im seeing much better gains.
 
I have learned a lot on PM but one thing stand out more than them all. It is that you have to learn there is a balance in life and much more to life to using AAS, dieting, training and bodybuilding.
 
For me, I learn that PM has some really good guys and girls. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet a quite few of them. I always say, that I haven't met one person from this site who I didn't like.
 
Haven't been here long, and have been on a quite a few other boards, but PM spurred me on to give syntherol a go-will still start a thread as I get to the end, and also thanks to Maldorf to making me take a look at the hemocrit levels and blood clot aspects that I never really thought about.
 
A few things I've learned here...

1) There are some very real and serious side effects to AAS and I'm glad it's something I delayed jumping into when I wasn't close to ready or aware of the long term dangers.

2) Getting my diet right (thanks Shelby) can do more for my physique than any supplement/training program/cardio program etc could ever do.

3) There are some selfish, delusional, ego maniacs out there that share this lifestyle. At least how they project themselves online.

4) On the flip side there are some outstanding individuals who bend over backwards to help out near strangers. Dante, Iabadman, and many others
