I am wanting to filter some gear I have with a .22 whatman filter, is there any reason to bake the gear after filtering into sterile vials?

I've never been able to get through a .22 um filter without busting the damn things. What's wrong with .45um?
I don't have patience for filtering .22 either. Everything has been fine for me using .45
You can try one of these. I haven't tried one yet, but looking forward to it
Home Chemistry Conversions - Millipore* Stericup* Sterile Vacuum Filter Unit; w/250mL Funnel/Receiver; PVDF Membrane
It's a vacuum driven filter so you don't have to make your hands go numb with pressuring oil through a filter.
