Ive seen other studies like this, showing too much testosterone can cause damage to brain cells. Seems like so many things a bodybuilder does are risky.

That's an in vitro study and if my rough calculation is not totally off, you'd have inject in the gram range to see the corresponding levels occur (assuming it all passes the BBB, anyway)

Depending on the extent of pre workout supplementation you have participated in, there's a chance you have used it in a product. I know I have..but never used it as an isolated compound.

It's in tonnes of pump products. Guys who don't take in the full list of ingredients may have used it and don't realize it. It's never done much for me but it's in various pre workouts so I have used it a fair amount.

The Dalton size of approximately 171Da makes it more readily assessable to permeate the blood brain barrier. And not all tight junctions of the blood brain barrier have capillaries that inhibit insult membrane potential. See citation above.

And yes I know it's in-vitro.

Not right away, but smart company's will take it out once people realize it's dangerous. TN's new pre workout Pre-Lab 17 doesn't have it.

I was recently diagnosed with A-fib and have to take 2 medications twice a day I called my doctor and told them all the supplements I planned on taking including brands they called me back the next day and told me they don’t suggest I take any supplements besides a multivitamin and maybe a protein bar if anything I’m new to working out I worked out for about a month before getting A-fib and quit for 6 months now but wanting to get back into it I just want to make sure it’s going to be worth trying to bulk up without supplements thanksin advance.

You shouldn't be thinking about bulking up while you have Afib! Get that completely under control. What supplements are you referring to? No one can give advice without the details.
