I always tell people dont get carried away with mixes because the bottom line is if you dont like the taste, you are going to be hating the mix you just bought.
beef protein isolate among other things is going to make that mix taste like crap.
be very simple with this
gets some cold fil or cross flow for your main usable protein plain by itself.
get some 411 amino's which is BCAA powder with a very high leucine content by itself. (leucine is highly important in a bodybuilders arsenal as the key to stopping sarcopenia and also promoting muscle mass gains)
Get some teamskip or casein for nighttime
get it all plain
buy some flavor packs so you can mix up some flavors as you feel like it....you just put a teaspoon of whatever flavor you want in that particular shake you are making.
maybe use choc/coconut one shake, orange creamsicle another, and strawberry cream another one so you dont get sick of the monotony.
with the 411 BCAA's just put a heaping teaspoon on the tongue pre workout post workout and pre bed and wash it down with crystal light like a shot. BCAA powder doesnt mix all that well because of the PH and doesnt taste awesome....just get it down like a shot.
I see people mixing in all these things in a mix (creatine monohydrate, etc etc etc) and then wonder why it tastes so crappy. Enjoy your protein as protein - there is nothing in a mix that makes it "more anabolic".
