whats the laws of sending Pins in the mail??

Are pins legal to send in the mail or does it vary state to state??
someone i know in another state needs pins ASAP, someone else i know can help him but overnight..but wants to know if its a no brainer or should be carefull??

I order mine through a vet supply company and they send them mailorder and assure me it is perfectly legal. (I won't name the company out of respect for the Sponsor in the banner.)

Thanks guys but Im not looking for a source, I used to use a non sponsor source but from now on I will use our sponser Sterile Syringes.Com.. My question was about me sending them to someone else...My brotherinl aw ran out of pins and asked me to overnioght him some and I wanted to know if I should take precautions because of legalities or if i could just send em ups or fedex and not have to wrry about any recourse....
Anyway I shiped em with the best security as if it were an issue just to be safe..
So my question remains open..can you get in trouble for sending pins if you got caught??? (GERM!!!!!)
