Whats the liquid that comes with BSL meters?

Small little bottle of red liquid came with it? What is it? I hope I wasnt supposed to use it b/c I havent.

If you're talking about a blood sugar meter, it's a control solution to make sure the instrument is reading correctly.

It should state somewhere on the bottle what the expected reading is. If the meter reading is radically different, recalibrate your meter. (most boxes of test strips come with a cal strip to set the meter up)
