I attribute most of my gains to muscle memory.
Lifted from 13 - 26 pretty seriously in between and during very hard work and partying.
I peaked at 235 @ 5%
After a 14yr layoff I jumped from 202-252 in a year. Not all muscle and way to much createne.
It took another year to solidify and now have peaked at 265 for the last 3 bulkers. I Hope to hit 270ish by spring. So I guess I gain 1 pd a year now.
Better than losing 1.
