Its made by "DREAMFIELDS" and says "healthy carb living" on the box.
2oz or 3/4cup or 1 serving

total fat 1g

carbs 42
sugar 1g
fiber 5g

Protien 7g

Here's the odd part. It says only 5g of digestable carbs per serving. It say the other 37 are "protected carbs" that can't impact blood sugar. Does this sound right to you guys? It tastes amazing.

Here is ingrediants if interested:
Enriched Semolina(semolina, Iron(Ferrous Sulfate), And B Vitamens(Niacin, Thiamin Mononitrate Riboflavin, Folic Acid). Fiber blend(inulin,Xanthan gum, Pectin), Sorbitol, Wheat Gluten, Potassium Chloride.

It sounds wrong to me and my back ground is in nutrition, I would contact the company and ask them to quantify this statement, ask them what they mean, there is a chance that some of the ingredients may slow down the breakdown of the carb, if you are cutting I would not touch the stuff, If you are bulking go for it, give it a try.


Sorbitol is a sugar substitute often used in diet foods (including diet drinks) and sugar-free chewing gum. It also occurs naturally in many stone fruits. Sorbitol is also referred to as a nutritive sweetener because it provides calories or energy to the diet: 2.6 calories (11 kilojoules) per gram versus the average 4 calories (17 kJ) of sugar and starch, while retaining 50% of the sweetness. This may explain why they feel the carbs won't be absorbed and they are not telling you how much is in there, at the end of the day it will turn to sugar basically spiking your insulin

Diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy may be related to excess sorbitol in the cells of the eyes and nerves. The source of this sorbitol in diabetics is excess glucose, which goes through the polyol pathway. Ingesting large amounts of sorbitol can lead to some abdominal pain, gas, and mild to severe diarrhea. Sorbitol can also aggravate irritable bowel syndrome and fructose malabsorption.


Sorbitol is used as a cryoprotectant additive (mixed with sucrose and sodium polyphosphates) in the manufacture of surimi, a highly refined, uncooked fish paste most commonly produced from Alaska (or walleye) pollock (Theragra chalcogramma).
