When I order a blood test

What should I tell the doctor to ensure that everything that I need to be tested for is done? Is there a specific type of blood test to ask for?

Different places call it different names but something along the lines of male hormone ought to be in the neighborhood of what you're after. If you did it online through those services some guys have found using the female profile gets you the same necessary numbers and is cheaper. But since you see a doctor forget that and just request the male hormone profile. Do be sure to mention you want the lipid profile as well as it might or might not be assumed. Heck with all a doctor you might as well even try and all the above option as it won't cost you anymore or less. Different if done online of course

Probably depends on your insurance. I get bills from the labs for about 65 bucks for a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Comprehensive Blood Count, Lipid Panel, Free, bound and bioavailable testosterone, T3, t4, TSH, Ultra sensitive estrodiol, prolactin, and DHT

I looked at a few online, anything close to that is a few hundred dollars.

Try local needle exchange type places. Heard they will test you but not for hormone levels.
If you do a search on a uk forum pe even google you'll get plenty of hits and better info than this post!
