Intensity/aggression tend to accompany anger but so does a loss of control. The goal should be to decouple the two...I'm happiest when at the gym but I still look bug eyed crazy when I walk into the squat rack
Me too. When I train angry my form gets sloppy, I get out of harmony with my body and I end up getting injured. I just recently learned this and I'm having much better workouts.
Anger never really accomplishes anything productive for me. I just go in the gym, thankful for my life, think of others that are less fortunate, and how I owe it to myself and life to try to be the best I can.
