Netflix has come along way from where they started out , alot of the original shows are pretty damn good though.

Netflix doesn't have movies that are out in theaters, though, those are the movies I like to watch lol.

That sucks. I just started using this after Kodi started to suck. What's going on with these services going away?

Pirate Bay is still a very good source for torrents. There's hundreds of proxy sites mirroring PB if for some reason you can't get it to load through the official URL (thepiratebay.org).

Instead of relying on streaming services, which constantly have libraries rise and fall without warning, I would suggest building your own media server environment. Download the movies via torrent, store them locally on an external harddrive dedicated to your media, and use a server/client like Emby or Plex to stream that media to any of your devices. I've used both Emby and Plex and can say Emby has my vote. I don't like Plex's cloud authentication requirement. Emby allows you to login using a cloud-based account, but you can also view media by just pointing the client at the server using the WAN IP address.

Ive been using Froot VPN for a while now and it does the trick. Domestic and European servers.

Honestly, most VPNs that you see advertised on Torrent Tracker sites will do. Throw a rock and you'll find one that will work.

Recommend you look for one that has a built in Kill Switch feature. Basically if your VPN goes down, your traffic stops entirely vs. exposing your WAN IP.

Probably not the best choice for a novice downloader. It's invite only and if the person you invite doesn't maintain a seed/leech ratio, their account and the person who invited them is gone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of IPTorrents, but I also have a linux seedbox sitting over in Europe making sure I keep my ratio up.
