Exactly! Im really sick of all this OMFG Arny is GAWD crap! It's usually the teenie bopers, guys that have no idea about Bodybuilding, and wanna-be's that are so quick to jump on the I wanna sex Arny boat.. because thats all they know! It's like all these fake wanna-be claimed "MMA fans" that like Lesnar and all the Ultimate Fighter TV guys haha! They have no clue what MMA is about.. and are just jumpin on the bandwagon with all the other posers!
Arnold would get crushed on everysingle aspect on stage if he were to take his 70's body onto a IFBB show today. Size, Condition, Symmetry.. EVERYTHING! Any IFBB or even any respected NPC comititor would shit all over Arnold so bad it's not funny. He would look like a fitness competitor/GQ model type body now a days.

I think you're being a little hard on Arnold. He's the reason that bodybuliding is as mainsteam as it is now. Without Arnold, many people would never have been drawn to it. Arnold also did a lot for other bodybuilders. Arnold is a big reason that bodybuilders are making the money they are today.

It's impssible to know how Arnold would do if he was born in this era of bodybuilding, but if he was born in this era of bodybuilding there might never have been guys like Cutler or Coleman because they might never have been drawn to the sport. One thing Arnold had going for him was his dedication and drive. With those 2 things, I have no doubt that he would maximize his potential in any era and whether or not it would translate is purely speculation.

I have no doubt, if Arnold was competing today, he would place 1st... because bodybuilding its more then lift weights and do drugs... its more mental then physical... any bodybuilder with genetics and mental aproach like arnold would be a winner always

DNA does not lie guys stop hating in arnold he is one of the best you cant compare it like black and white there is much more to it then that. it bascially boils down to gentics.

this whole how would arnold do thing also applies to steve reeves, sergio oliva, larry scott and many others. they would all be highly competitive in any era. how woud coleman or cutler look if all they had available was 1970's technology as far as training methods, equipment drugs, nutrition etc.
