I'm noticing a few companies have started putting fiber in their faster absorbing proteins. But why? This will slow the absorption rate.

This might be ideal for me since id like to replace meals with whey iso. Its seems only super pure iso is the only protein powder that works for me (stomach)

i just add flax powder to some of my shakes - omega 3's and 5 grams of fiber per 3 TSP

Seems kind of stupid to me too

the slow absorption rate is why i like to add fax to my shakes before bed.

Yes but maybe not.
If I can only handle super pure iso yet want it to slow down, it seems useful.
I'm over meat to be honest, and other than eaa, whey would be a better protein/meal replacement

better off adding fats to slow absorption down

See I was told fiber rather than fat. But also what you said. Maybe I was told fiber because I wante a shake every three hours

Having a 100% Whey Isolate with Fiber would be OK in some instances.

But adding Fiber to Whey Hydrolysate is Defeating the Whole Purpose of taking a Hydrolysate.
Hydrolysates are Predigested, so they can enter the Bloodstream that much faster, so when you add Fiber to it, now it's Useless for that purpose.
Plus, Hydrolysates are much more Expensive than 100% Isolates.............. JP

The hydro makes no ssense, as you just explained.

Yes I agree with this. Isolate is the most filtered and pure form of whey protein. Trace amounts of carbs and fats. Hydrolyzed whey is a less filtered version that has been predigested for fast absorption.

Id rather just do that myself
