Hey guys, Iv'e been out of training for about 7 months and just put on a crap load of body fat, around 12kg of weight too be honest.
Im 5ft11 and weigh 89kg not sure about BF though.

Im wanting to get rid of as much BF as possible but dont want to loose muscle as I have a decent amount.

I start fasting for 30 days in around 8 weeks, so I have 8 weeks to get in shape and loose as much BF as possible and then in september I'll be starting a fresh bulk hopefully trying to put on clean weight.

I eat lots of junk and love sweet,sugary and choc foods!!-but this is going to have to come to an end :(


I''ll be doing about 5 days a week in the gym,individual body parts each session and hoping to do cardio everyday! maybe a mixture of HIT and low.
What sort of diet plan do you guys think I should follow? because obviously diet is the main thing.
 
A few thoughts:

1) at your level of bf, pretty much any diet is going to work for you. The main thing is to keep calories consumed about 500 cals less than calories expended on average. I personally like keto diets because they curb the carb cravings better than anything else for me. Sounds like you might also like it since you are eating a lot of sweets.

2) don't worry too much about the muscle at this point. The drugs should take care of that, and as long as you don't cut cals too much you should be fine.

3) what are you talking about when you say you will be fasting in 30 days? That's a recipe for disaster in terms of retaining muscle.
 
what is this 30 day fast ?? are you Muslim ??

if you are looking to drop fat fast I'd look at a Palumbo style diet

1.5g protein per pound of weight and 1/2g fat per pound of weight , I prefer to use coconut oil as added fat rather than nuts and EVOO
