white splotches after discontinuing mt2

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My back is covered in these white splotches ever since I stopped mt2. Its like its camp. I stopped mt2 abou 2months ago
And I guess that is what caused this. Any help?

This might not be much help but here goes. I grew up in Hawaii, have naturally tan skin and I have the ability to get very dark. Growing up however, my back would not tan evenly. I would blotchy areas that were much lighter in color. Not white per se but much lighter as no part of my skin qualifies as white. I started using MT2 off and on over a year ago and while everything got much dark my previously lighter areas remained a shade or two lighter. So I don't really why a this is why answer for you. Just know you aren't the only one out there with this situation. Venturing a guess is probably just something your our back melanin levels and for whatever reason uneven distribution on the back

You may have tinea versicolor and while you were on mt2 you could not see it as your body was making so much pigment...once you discontinued that fungus could "consume" more pigment than you were making and it became visible.

Same thing happened to me...your doc can write you a script for some shampoo stuff you use as a body wash or ketoconazole tablets that I understand are pretty liver harsh...
