This isn't big tea country here but if I feel a sore throat/cold coming on, nothing beats that Yogi Immune Support tea from the whole foods aisle. Plus it tastes good. There's the regular and also one with lemon balm extract that chills me out. But I take lemon balm nightly for that reason anyway.
I don't know if the lemon balm extract just dries my eyes out sort of like benadryl does but it definitely helps put me to sleep without the druggy benadryl feeling. I've gotten zero relaxation help from GABA, L-tryptophan, 5-htp, valerian root, ginseng, L-theanine, or chamomile.
