I'm qurious to know how many people are reading books right now? Hopefully its something other than bodybuilding related as well. I'm just starting to re-read a Noam Chomsky book again called Manufacturing Consent.

I'm just trying to see what other people are doing besides bodybuilding. Hopefully I will get some other good reading ideas from some other people. So if you are reading something, fire away.

I have to read a great deal as part of my academic work, but on the side, I read the boards and articles from aldaily.com. I am also slowly making my way through the Brothers Karamozov and am considering reading the Aeneid.

"Being and Time" by Martin Heidegger. Don't really know what to say about it. I've read and reread it several times, always going back to it after reading something else. It's by far the best book I've read. If you like philosophy it's a very good read. One of the few books I've read that makes other supposed "great" books seem not so great. Trumps Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Marx.

I just finished Joyce's Portrait for AP English.

Currently reading "Zorba the Greek" by Nikos Kazantzakis... so far so good.

I'm reading a book called "Transforming Suffering: Reflections On Finding Peace In Troubled Times".

and

" Instead Of Violence : Writings by the great advocates of peace and nonviolence through history".

Theyre both very very good! -StOrY

DR brian Weiss - "same soul, many bodies"

book on past life hypnotic regression by a former very mainstream skeptical phsyciatrist...

whether true or not the stories are heart warming

The UltraMind Solution by Mark Hyman. Anyone who is also into anti-aging should check it out.

Ive never read a book in my life but Ive read enough on the net and Text Books that should count for something!!!!!!

Ive been doing some audio books lately while traveling.

investing in gold and silver by mike maloney. its part of the rich dad poor dad series. it not only provides investment insight but also a good understanding of our monetary system and its history...good read.

just picked this up after reading your praise of it...thanks. hope it "trumps" Nietzsche...

Besides posting delicious pictures of ass.... i also read about ex pornstars. (yeah, that was deliberate, i'm not a perv.. no more than the rest of you anyway)

But in all seriousness, the more I read, the more disgusted I am by that industry, and the less I wanna watch any of the movies 'cuz i just feel sorry for the people in them.

Right now I'm reading "The Secret Lives of Hyapatia Lee", and her life is truly fucked up. another book on the subject is "How to make love like a porn star" by Jenna Jameson. Both are worth reading IMO.

the girlfriend just read all 4 twilight vampire books in under 2weeks, so she tossed me the first, it isnt too bad, not my kind of read tho.
frk

ps, an3m4l ap english, u still in Highschool my friend?

I just read the WOLF OF WALL STREET. It's the autobiography of the guy who ran the firm that was in Boiler Room...

I am reading - Developing the Leader Within You by John Maxwell, I just finished his book the 360 Degree Leader and have the 17 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership next up to read, then back to my Robert Jordan Wheel of Time series for a bit.
