Earlier that week he got really drunk or high and thought the cops were gonna get him so he threw all the amps he could find in a protein powder container and threw the jug in his attic if I’m remembering correctly…the next day he was sober and done being paranoid and made a shake with all the broken amps in it and cut up his mouth….only to do a demonstration later that week in the powerhouse locker room on how fragile an amp is….he was special lol

I’ve been around the game for 30yrs now…first stuff was from the classified adds in the back of MuscleMag. Send a letter to request a list to an international address, once the list arrives you sent cash and hoped for the best. Usually your stuff would arrive a month or two later. It was around this time my local area started seeing a lot of Tornel/Brovel bottles, often selling for upwards of $100+. This {and reading MM2K in the early 90’s} led me to my first trip to Mexico (strictly for anabolics) at a fairly young age. Brownsville to Matamoras was as easy as it could be 25+yrs ago. By the time I was 22 I had it down to a science. Redijects and Sten were my favorites.
The internet changed the game. My handle here is actually the password needed to use for my first online source during the aol dialup days…you needed to be referred, hence the password. I believe that was from the original UG board.
There have been some great sources over the years here…I can’t recall all the names but remember a source selling nothing but boxes of Omnadren and Russian Dbol for dirt cheap (still the best mass cycles to this day for me). When tren first became a thing there was an international source selling large plastic bottles of the stuff with screw on caps. Had a strange fragrance smell, had terrible packaging which would often show up leaking, but it worked fantastic! lol. Tubs of 1,000 pink dbols for $130-$150 all day, and Western Union was the only way.
Homebrewing has went from pellets and kits from Animal to literally the entire market of our culture. I feel I’ve been fortunate enough to use some of the best labs/brewers out there over the years but just my opinion…I don’t believe anything touches the old human grade stuff…regardless of testing. For example, I’ve been on a decade or so long mission to find a dbol that can match what those old Naposims did…nothing close. Seen a lot of changes over the past 30 years but one thing is for certain, they’ll always be some sort of supply from somewhere

Same as above this pretty much mirrors my time with a few breaks/side quests.

I will note one thing regarding the human grade stuff from back in the day, and I had plenty that I watched in person come from US pharmacy shelves...even today's US from pharmacy shelves don't hit as hard. It's not them, it me. But some great memories.

Also love the classic "but it worked"! Said it and heard it so much and at the end of the day, that was it. Early 90s were a total bitch.

So I'm curious to how many older gentlemen are here and what they remember about 'back in the day'.

Mid to late 90s gear and early 2000s.
What was your favorite? Brovel, Tornel, Quality Vet? Feel free to weigh in as i know there were others. Those 3 just happen to stick out in my mind the most.

Back when I was a doorman in the Vancouver area, mid 90s, I met a ton of male strippers through the clubs. They were by far the best connection.

This one guy had a connection in Europe and he had bags and bags of pharma amps. Primo, parabolan, etc.

Everyone I knew also took Dbol in the russian blister packs. Doorman "moonface" was an epidemic in the clubs...
