Hello everyone. I have been working out and lifting for almost 2 years. All my life I grew up a fat kid. Never even been close to being in shape. I have fought and fought for years with my weight. I have a sweet tooth, and I LOVE food. But at the same time I love lifting and working out! I started boxing several years ago, and transitioned to mma 3 years ago. I am getting older and fighting is still a part of my life, but getting in AWESOME shape is an obsession of mine. I lift almost every day and do cardio 2-3 days a week. While I am getting stronger and a bit bigger. I'm still flabby. I HATE this. as a matter of fact, I'm putting on weight and I'm sure it's not good weight!! What gives?? I have been cycling for 8 months or so and while on I get stronger and gain water weight I never SEE anything different. I have tried every diet, every pill everything recommended to me. Then I see these 8-12 week before and after pictures and it makes me SICK! I love lifting and working out, I just want to look like I lift and work out! Any advice would be appreciated. I am 33yo 240lbs and 15% bf

Not trying to come across flaming you.If its not working,its time to change it.Your diet cant be right & you might need a lot more cardio

Stop loving food.

We need to kill your appetite for good food. You need to fuckin only eat tuna, oatmeal, cooked chickenbreast, raw eggs and the most boring stuff ever. .

No tasty meal what so ever. No spiceys, no sauces, no sweet etc.
(the first months will be a real mindfuck.)

Can you do it? I dont think you can... But im telling you this, the craving for good food will dissappear in time, food is addictive. If you only eat boring food that doesnt really taste anything you will eventually become really apathic towards food.

Your body forgets how good food tastes. It doesnt remember anymore. And you wont crave it any longer.

No cheatmeals of course, if you cheat you destroy everything and has to start over again.
 
1. Your diet probably needs a makeover.

2. You are probably overtraining if you are lifting nearly everyday.

3. Take pictures to track your progress. You will probably not be able to notice subtle changes in your appearance as they happen. Pictures/video are really the only ways to gauge subtle changes.
 
I have been there bro. but cardio 2-3 a wk is not enough. try 6 days a wk at least 1hr or few miles a day up hill on a tread mill and it can be just a brisk walk. and see were you get. you cant be eating more crap then you are working off you have to make healthy choices leave the piece of cake for a treat on the week end only. try some cinnamon gram crackers are low in fat as well as calories to satisfy you sweat tooth. but not a whole box. trust me bro it can be done without eating card board everyday. make small changes to your diet slowly and before you no it you wont like eating crap anymore. for guys like us to stick with it go slow.you cant take all you love away at once or you will not make it. and try low doses on the gear sounds like your bloating up a little goes a long way.forget the bulking idea you want to focus on cutting.

Psot your diet & post your routine, if you want, your pics would help greatly.

Then a real assesment of what your problem areas are can be seen.
 
Do your best to pile as many good days in row on top of each other with regards to proper training, cardio (yes, I would increase this if I were you), and proper nutrition. If you fall into a cheat meal and have one, do not make it the end of the world and let turn into the trickle effect. Get back to the routine, do not think because you cheated on your diet, it is the end of the world because it is not, we are human...do your best to get back to the routine. DIEt should never be your goal, but smarter eating for YOUR body.

Know when to rest and recover from training, listen to your body it will tell you a lot with regards to eating and training. And if you can't figure out the nutrition, hire someone to help you with it.

Continue with your efforts bro!

Sadly I 100% agree with this post. Based on what you said "Sweet-tooth and love for food"...
Food should become a utility for you, at least until you have gotten it completely under control.
I run inlto this all the time where people feel as if the deserve to eat the food that ultimately sabotages their progress.

bro im 46 5'8" 212lbs in 2005 i found out i was diabetic.it was the best thing for me. sounds funny its not but when the doctors says exercise or els i got to the gym. i was 262lbs at that time. so be diabetic in your mind change your diet leave sugar alone all together. get your body into ketosis it too 2 years but i hit 186lbs.
and i wish i had hired someone like phil or shelby. JUST DONT GIVE UP
 
You've been juicing for 8 months and see nothing? No improvement? None?

Makes me believe that your gear may be fake.

At 240 and 15% BF, you should be seeing some noticeable change in muscle size and strength while on cycle. I mean 15% isnt the worst I've heard of on this board.

Even if you're a fat guy, you should be atleast a "big muscley fat guy" after 8 months on juice.

There are alot of people here more knowledgeable about Diet and Training than I, but from a common sense approach I've seen Dianabol and Test E put muscles on a tomato.

If I'm misunderstanding, and you're just carrying too much bodyfat, but are growing BIG... Maybe research DNP? Controversial?.... Yes. Effective?... Yes. For Everyone?... NO!.

Theres a guy here that lost like 47lbs on DNP during a long low dose cycle. Search out posts by EricRaven2003.
 
I'm in the same boat but what I've come to realise is that the more body fat you carry the less muscle you will see. Shoulders for example, you've got to be somewhat lean to see really good shoulder development and if your still carrying a higher percent of body fat what devolpment you've made will not show just yet.

eventually if you do the bland thing long enough, those sweet foods you crave will taste gross to you. fatty deep fried stuff will make you sick to your stomach. your body will reject them in a way.

do not love food - eat for your body not your brain!

Hello everyone. Thanks for the replies and so quickly. I am 6'2" Don't get me wrong. I am gaining massive strength when I cycle and I am a lot bigger. but I just can't seem to get lean. Even when I cut for a fight. I am still flabby. This irks the shit outta me! I get serious about my diet then I fall off. I think the biggest part of my failure is my daily diet. When I am being fairly clean my diet looks something like this.... wake 2 scoop shake multi, creatine, fish oil, chromium, 2222 amino acids. while I'm making 3eggs 10 whites 1 cup oatmeal. drizzle 1tsp honey. couple hours later(preworkout) 2 scoop shake/no xplode 2222 amino acid fish oil creatine . post workout 2 scoops protein 2222 amino and creatine then turkey sandwich on ww with tom and let, baked chips. little later dinner chicken and greens, something like that. where I fall apart is I get hungry before I go to bed. I think it's just bad habit. So I eat cereal or something like that. when I'm bad on my diet..... Hell I'll eat pizza and cheeseburgers cokes cake whatever is around. I haven't really taken much during my cycles but I have done TONS of research... Having read several books and constantly searching the web for answers. I pretty much have just stuck with test and tren. pct being hcg, clomid and nolvadex. before I started all that I was holding around 220 now I hold around 240. I wanted to get bigger and stronger so i just lift as heavy as I can pretty much all the time with lower reps. but the more I find out the more I realize that maybe I need to vary that structure?? I want to LOOK good so heavy isn't always the key I suppose?? But fuck I can bench 350 and dead lift 500+ and squat 450... I kinda started omitting cardio because I wanted to get bigger and that's what I was told to do.... lol First and foremost I suppose cardio should really become the LARGEST change I make right outta the gate? As well as KEEP my diet clean. Even if I "fall off the wagon" just get back on that fukr ASAP!! For my next cycle (Which I have always ordered from one of the sponsors here) is going to be test prop 700mg a week, Dbol 35 mg day, and deca 500 mg a week. Tried and tested mass gainer. But maybe I should hold off and get my BF lower first? I have always been afraid to run dbol because of the excess water weight and all that. i just don't want to get any FATTER!!! lol Don't get me wrong. I'm big and have muscles, but I jiggle and it fucking PISSES ME STRAIGHT OFF!!!! lol is my largest stumbling block my willpower ? I just finished working out an hour ago. I drank a shake while cooking callard greens and chicken. and I'm still hungry!!! WTF?!?!?!? lol

I have read about DNP... Frankly it scares the SHIT outta me... But like most things.... Knowledge is key. Can you give me some prescriptions for the use of this?? Just some contributing information that might give me some insight?
