I've been a member here for 14 years, and I remember when peptides were all the talk. Now it seems to be the consensus of don't waste your money....

I was digging through some old threads and can't help but to say that the research I'm doing shows a combo of mod grf/ghrp is far superior to growth from a cost/comparison perspective... I understand that hgh has a prolonged affect, but I can't help but to think that something like MK677 at night coupled with 100mcg ea GHRP 2/mod grf in the AM and post Workout would reign superior?

I highly doubt those peps would be superior to GH, I'm one of those who say don't waste your money! I do like mk677 but not as a replacement for GH. See what everyone else says about the subject.

I used them for years from about 49 years old to about mid 50s. They worked better the first couple of years. I remember going through photo albums with my wife and I looked younger than I did 5 years earlier. Pissed my wife off. I cycled them on and off. I use to cycle off AAS for 3-4 months at a time. GHRP2 especially seemed to work in cycle and off cycle for nutrient partitioning. Going off without them I tended to get soft. With them I stayed leaner but would still lose the steroid pump. If dosed an hour before eating after eating nothing for 2 hours the peptide would make the nutrients partition into the muscle a lot like GH does. After a few years they seemed to peter out after a month or so. There was a member here years ago that did a ton of blood work using peptides and they seemed to give him a boost in IGF-1 of GH (https://www.professionalmuscle.com/.../exciting-grf1-29-ghrp-2-serum-gh-test.89886/). I really didn't see much of that but I did get the a fore mentioned effects. The whole peptide thing died down when Dax got taken down. Maybe someone recalls the details of that.

I steady took ghrp 2 and cjc w/o dac, igf 1 etc. for a few years. back when it was "a thing" i got leaner, stronger, more vascular. I never had my labs done but I looked younger and felt younger. Currently looking to see whats available now? peps have changed over the years as have sponsors etc. But I agree with the folks who say they did provide benefit.

When you consider the cost versus current GH costs, it’s not that much more- and as we age, the GHRPs become less efficacious than exogenous supplementation.

Add on the fact that most bodybuilders are interested in supra physiological dosing, which no GHRP can hope to match, and there you go.

I guess there’s a use case for a younger individual to use GHRPs for longevity, a bit of skin/ hair benefit and a bit of lipolysis , but that’s about it. That’s my 2 cents assessment/ opinion, if it helps to give context to the conversation.

For the record, I’ve tried them all- CJC, ipamorelin, tesamorelin, etc etc, I just use 3 IUs GH now as a 54 year old. Better results

GH is much cheaper than it was then, easier to source, more proven and more effective.....plus whenever something is new it gets hype, hell I think i still have a couple full boxes of Hex and ipam somewhere in the fridge. Half of us lost our minds for MK677 and cardarine a few years back also remember that? Lots of other examples, anything that is actually a revelation or improvement over something else wouldn't just fall by the wayside. Multiple expensive dosing a day and overhyped effects that wear off over a short amount of time usually don't bode well for something staying popularly used.....you could some of those things for all the stuff that has fallen off over time.

GHRPs & GFR don't really bring muscle growth unless you're on gear. Decent anti-aging effects but yeah, pretty much a waste of money by themselves for muscles.

Early documentation for CJC-1295 and IPAM suggested that mixing them after reconstitution may cause degradation. Is there any recent information about that, since they are offered as a blend now?

Is this from the Reddit chart? If not, what is the source of that information?

GHRP6 will always have its use for its effect on the gut and appetite.

It’s better than inject BPC in this regard IMO.

Dat wasnt right on what he said about DAC and his bleed theory. DAC does created a pulse. Ive probably posted this a half dosen times here under other alias's https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17018654/

I used DAC for a run with MK, solo, and with a GHRP. Also ran GHRP2 with no DAC.

I got fucking BIG. One of those runs I was on 200mg test/wk. Most of them were with around 500mg test.

My result “felt like” 6-10iu of good GH, with about 50% more water.

Great for offseason. I’d never do it precontest.

If anyone remembers Phil Hernon’s line… I still have a handful of 10mg DAC’s that I’m saving for a rainy day. Fucking STRONG.

Imo because high quality UGL GH got cheap overnight

Interesting

I was doing the same for years then laid off. I've started using them again at various times, like prior to bed because they don't seem to cause the insulin resistance that it feels like I start to develop with hgh. When I cut out hgh for a week, my blood sugar starts to get back to normal levels.
