This "attitude" is a fucking epidemic.

JUST today in class, a ENORMOUS debate / heated arguement took place -- it got bad -- name calling, yelling all that shit. It was about 50/50 on views. And it was about this very subject...My feminist cunt teacher said this: "we OWE the black people in this country -- I know you were not around when the suppression was taking place, but if you are white and you are called a cracker or another rascist name, you deserve it for what happened to them in the past in this country." Before she could finish (steak ask nikki hear -- this was funny shit man) I said " that is BULLSHIT, no two ways about it, if I get called ANY racial term, I will fire right back -- and I have done it before. No fucking way (I said fucking -- but others were swearing and she did not seem to mind or she was scared) am I gonna sit there and take shit like this, I do not owe them JACK SHIT. Sure I know they were suppressed, it must have sucked but TIMES have changed and now we are are in a fucked situation. The black community overcompensated the circumstances and have these chips on there shoulders. We owe them everything. If we use the word "nigger" it is SO taboo, but they can call us any god damn name they want, and it is justified. Here is what is happening in our country and slowly the rest of the world (I know because I have met black folks in other countries and they do not have this attitude) On 1 side you have white people, and on the other black people. Then you have white trash, and then there are niggers. It is an attitude NOT a fucking culture. And it is being GLORIFIED!!! do we Glorify white trash? Hell no! We don't because that attitude, that personality, is negative and destructive, SAME as its counterpart. People need to wake the fuck up and realize what is happening here. If they want equality, then why do they try so hard to be different from us? Do we have white histroy month? No? Hm. I do have black friends and they agree this attitude is making a horrible name for their REAL culture, the african culture. Being afro-american is not about gang-banging etc... And slaves? People are under the impression we just went over to Africa and herded them up, capturing them etc... Did that happen? NO! Other tribes were feuding and THEY (ya their own people) would capture prisoners of wars etc and THEN sell them to us. They sold off there own, we didn't do in there and snatch them up. Christ the ignorance of the ebonic madness is unbeleivable. They assume this identity because it is the one that is taught to them that will give them some sort of "respect" amongst others. Hate breeds hate. Hey I have met blacks in places where they speak JUST LIKE ME, ACT JUST LIKE the average Joe. We have given them the free pass to SUPRESS US, here is an example. A good friend of mine wrestled for the Olympic team in South Africa. He is white and a damn good wrestler. Well some of his teamates were not so fortunate, as the team was REQUIRED to have a certain amount of minorities on the Olympic team, never mind that there were better wrestlers that should have gone, they were bumped for other less talented individuals on accounts of their race. I am not saying in any way blacks cannot wrestle as good as whites, I have known some great black wrestlers, but in this particular instance that was wrong. It happens with jobs too.

Now before people get on me for being racist, think about what I am saying because you know it is the truth. I have been jumped several times by 5-6 of them, but I still took care of business, got fucked up in the process, JUST for being true to who I am. If a nigger gets on my case and starts with racial shit like whitey, white boy, I will do the same back -- but for some reason I am the racist -- WHEN it was him who had the racial issues on his concious NOT ME. If I show that I am proud of my ancestry, then I am racist? WTF? Hey I go with the flow, I get along with all sorts of folks, black, white, mexican. But I refuse to be submissive to this issue. I hate white trash same as niggers. They are attitudes people. Be real. Drop the bullshit and be real with yourself and others. And to wiggers: you people are really lost. I have been all over this country and to many parts of the world. I have seen a lot and I know what the hell I am talking about. Let me clear up a few of my feelings here and then I will be done.
In reality , any white kid talking ebonics , wearing hip hop attire , and acting like a street thug is mimicking american black culture that evolved in the inner -cities in the 60s,70s, and 80s.The people they are imitating were poor , ignorant , and uneducated.They were no different than the poor white trash that is polutes americas countrysides.The only difference is that because of the drug trade bringing such large amounts of cash that they were able to make being a dummy a whole lot more glamorous.Someone with deep pockets saw this phenominon and helped bring this to market to exploit it and make alot of money.My beef is that white kids have become fasinated with acting like ghetto dumbshits.You don't see black kids running around acting like hillbillies.I am not against rap ,I am against the part of hip hop culture that promotes acting like a jerkoff.It makes me sick.The fact that the hip hop explosion has created a whole gerneration of wanna be dumb shits ,blows my mind and makes me very sad .What a waste .
My family came to this country from italy 60 years ago.They came here to be americans not italions.Things were hard for my family just like anyone elses.But my family knew that this was the greatest country in the world and wanted to be part of it.They wanted to preserve some of thier culture , but wanted to asimulate into being americans.[ changed thier names , refused to speak thier language]Some of my family did get involved into some bad stuff.I have had 5 family members murdered[ 2 uncles , 2 cousins, and my grandfather]But my family always did things with class and respect even when they were poor and not very educated yet.My family has respect for this country and feels privileged to be here and is now totally legit.[ and has been for many years]

Wow, this is an amazing amount of replies to this thread. I was a wigger once too. Well not really wearing the doo rags and baggy pants or saying yo. I had a group of black guys that I worked with from 19-21. We played 3 card monte and did some short change stuff. I was in a music group that was rap music. It wasnt gangster rap. It was kinda like rage against the machine stuff.
I've outgrown that shit. I still listen to some rap music, also metal, rock, jazz, and pretty much anything but country.
I don't ever remember being disrespectful to people, but I was the skinny 150lb punk listening to public enemy in my car. (It was a sports car though, not a hooptie)

As far as blacks being oppressed...every, racial and religious group that came into this country was oppressed and persecuted. To the extent of blacks? No. However, the Irish, Italians, Jews, Muslims, etc, have overcome adversity to flourish in this country. It seems to me that blacks as a whole are the only group that constantly blames their condition as a people on the hardships they have eundured. Does prejudice exist? Sure. In one way or another we all experience prejudice. Bodybuilders, attractive women, women in general, Italians, Jews, whoever, our beliefs, our appearances, they all create a prejudice in one way or another. However, people seem to overcome this prejudice on a daily basis. I know when I went to college and checked the caucasian box on my application, no money was coming my way. I know when I apply for a job, I get no minority consideration. But I still walk with my head up and present myself in a respectful manner and carry myself with dignity. Some people are given opportunities, they're just too damn lazy and deterred by their own road blocks to take advantage of what's been given to them.

When I was young kids wanted to grow up to be doctors and government officials so they could change the world. Nowadays kids want the big $$$ from playing basketball, football etc and don't worry as much bout education. It is a fact that educated people don't behave like animals because they know better. Kids see guys like 50 Cent on MTV and guy gets out of jail and a week later is signed and a millionaire....Some fucking role model. Kids dont want to work to make money anymore and they don't want to work their way up the hard way. Kids want the big bucks right off the start. Look at that Lebron guy, that asshole gets what 50 million and kid can hardly speak english and contributes nothing to society. At least if your an overpaid athlete put something back into the community instead of taking all the time.

I agree with most of the comments in here - especially those focused getting at the root of the problem, which is getting parents to act like parents and not try to be their kids pal. Discipline is what is needed at every level. Discipline is what taught me the meaning of respect. I grew up in a military family (both grandfathers, my father, 2 uncles, etc), and my father was a hard-ass. To this day he is still the toughest motherfucker I know (btw he was a ranger). He gave me the discipline that made me what I am today, a very successful business man. For that I can never thank him enough. I just hope that I can do the same for my son and daughter so that they grow up understanding the meaning of hard work, and take pride in themselves, their family and who they are.
