This may sound like a newb question, but I am trying to understand the logic behind ramping letro up.
I understand that you taper it down at the end to avoid estrogen rebound, but what is the purpose of ramping letro up when using it to get rid of gyno?
People seem to do something along the lines of this:
Day 1: .25mg
Day 2: .5mg
Day 3: .75mg
Day 4: 1mg
Day 5 1.5mg
Day 6: 2.0mg
Day 7: 2.5mg
Maintenance at 2.5mg/day until desired gyno shrinkage is achieved.
Taper down, in a similar fashion to how it was ramped up.
Like I said, I understand the taper but what is the point of the ramp up?
Is it to bring estrogen levels down slowly over a period of a week, rather than just hammering your body by dropping estrogen levels to an extreme over night?
Thank you for the replies!
