Why pre workout stimulants?

Ive had a long weekend at work and i needed to hit leg day. after my little layoff i jumped right back into DC training. Anyway, to make a long story short i worked 14 hrs yesterday and was really beat. So when i get to the gym i was looking for a little boost and just grabbed this pre workout energy drink form behind the counter. I think it was turbo tea or something rush....goddamn that made me feel like crap. other than giving me the shakes, and indigestion, i ended up puking while i was warming up for SLDL, and again after my widowmaker on hack squats. i didnt feel like i got any boost in energy only a boost in nausia. still exhausted during my workout and even more so afterwords. what do you guys use in those situations? Was it the shitty product i chose? maybe i just dont do well with stimulants.
 
First thiing, you have to allow the pre workout time to "work." At least 30 mins. 2nd, it takes some trial and error to find one that really works for you. I used to use nano vapor, it worked great for me, but for a lot my friends it just caused them stomach problems. Expirement a bit and you will find one that lights you on fire in the gym.

Exactly, I work a Max muscle part time and there are three of us that compete. Each one of us respond differently to pre-workout supplements. (and we try alot of them) Half of them make my stomach upset, but the ones that don't, help a lot.
If you live near a Max muscle, go by and ask if you can try different ones. As long as you start buying protein or something after the first visit, they should continue to let you try different pre-workouts until you find the right one for you
 
i drink a thermogenic sugar free drink from the gym i work out at....it contains about 300mg of caffeine.....it works great for me....really helps me with my energy during workout
 
With my work schedule if i skipped a day in the gym every time i was alittle tired id never get a workout.
makin sure I wasn't alone..lol:D
 
They put so many different ingredients in some of those thermogenics, it's hard to tell what made you sick if it does. As for me one thing I know I have to stay away from anything containing Yohimbe HCL, the stuff makes me ill. I would say try some other ones, I take one from time to time, but try to do without it for the most part. God bless you bro
 
im lucky that most supplements dont make me sick at all. but i like to have a stimulant preworkout just to keep me going. so far my 2 favorite are ready 4 war by get diesel and stim x from anabolic xtreme. might want to look into those, as i havnt heard about stomach issues with many people using them.

i use nano vapor powder- 1 scoop only, or nano-v tabs(2)
add in some ginko, itll help with focus

I use plazmosis and have found it works great if I use it how it is supposed to be used. That is on an empty (or near empty) stomach and I wait about 45 minutes after I take it. Great pumps as well.
 
I drink a sugar free energy drink before every workout because it gives me an edge when lifting and helps me focus.
 
I miss the old Ultimate Orange that Duchaine came up with. The ultimate pre-workout supp. That stuff rocked.
 
Simple. 16oz. cup of coffee cream, no sugar. I never take anything
heavy before workout.

just shot 2-3 ml of kynoselen 45-60 min before a workout .
 
I take Plasmajet 2 hours before workouts, and 45 minutes before i take two scoop of superpump 250, love it
