why the f*&k do my legs hurt

im sore on both calves from the inner part going all the way down towards my ankle it burns like hell when i stretch it keeps me from performing at my best & it straight sucks i started playing ball agin 3 weeks into it & it still hasnt gone away anyone have a similar situation how long till im not sore no more & i was thinking are these shin splints?

does sound similar to shin splints.
 
I'm experiencing the same thing. It started about two years ago, just after I took Fitropin. I've had xrays and bone scans done, thinking it might be compound fractures. The scans showed nothing wrong. Before taking growth, I had never experienced shin splints. I am pretty convinced that the GH has permanantly affected the soft tissue in my lower legs. I have a podiatrist appt tomorrow morning to confirm it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alieviating pain from shin splints? Anyone have experience with them?
 
Grab a good glutamin supp to help you with the muscle soarness and recovery.
 
That is what I would recommend, Glucosamine/chondroitin complex w/MSM - 4 tabs/ed. BUT, I do agree with Alin, it does sound alot like shinsplints, I got them when I played ball in junior high..............
 
ya bro I almost guarentee its shin splints, if you just startrd to become a lot more active on your feet. I used to get them at the begining of track and football season every year without fail. things to decrease the pain 1 ice them right after you get done playing ball for about 20-30 min I just used an ace bandage with a bag of frozen veggies, 2 you can buy a neoprine sleeve to put around it to help keep ressure on it, it really helps to ease the pain. hope this helps bro

i thought Gluco w/chon was more for connective tissues and joints and more useful for thwarting off osteoarthritis? Glucosamine and chondroitin are building blocks of connective tissue and are key components of the joints.

Where good protein intake along with a constant intake of glutamin wich is more beneficial for muscle fiber repair and muscle building would be better? (or am i complete wrong?)
 
Shin splints are on the FRONT of the lower leg. Yours is on the inside? Maybe I read that wrong? In any case, I have issues w/shin splints and the only thing that really helps is to stretch OFTEN. 3-5x a day for 30-60 at a time. You could try ice, but I'm not sure that's going to help you any.

LMAO.....I agree wit SG. All you can really do is give em a rest and stretch often. Stop playin ball for bout 2 wks but continue to use the oliptical machine 5x/wk 30-45 min. and keep stretchin and takin glut. This will take stress off your calf's and still let you build up there strength/endurance. This gets them back into shape so u can start playin ball again w/ no pain. take care

All depends on what is actual problem is, might as well give him some options to have a go with, to narrow it down.............
